Picked up Shogun TW 2 from this sale ^^

As for AP, it's great game with some funny bugs. Unfortunately my game broke completely, all enemies oneshot me instantly and walk through walls :(. So that was what killed my playthrough.

Oh, come on guys, I don't want to play AP, because I've heard that it somehow similar to Mass Effect. End of story.

Even if it's identical to Mass Effect, it doesn't mean you can't buy it for the cheapest price now and save it for when you get over your lull. You'll only end up regretting not buying this.

shhh Graham I'm still compiling this Radiant map
Alpha Protocol's not really similar to Mass Effect. One is a great game, the other is, well, Mass Effect.

We're just saying it has almost nothing in common with Mass Effect. You're free to play and not play whatever you want, but we care so we're not gonna let that kind of misconception slide.

I'm starting to hate Steam. I can't find enough time for all the cheap-ass games, and unlike others I do not like having a huge backlog :(

Oh for the ***. Just get AP. I loved both Mass Effect games and did enjoy Alpha Protocol quite a bit. It is a good game with some flaws but well worth the 2.-

I'm really thinking about per-purchasing Pay-Day the heist. I don't usually do it with new IPs but I've heard a lot of good things about the game, also I really like the 10% off.

Add a TF2 hat and it's a deal.

Can someone tells me how Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes plays? I'd download the demo, but I'm close to the bandwidth cap this month. xD
It doesn't really play like much else. It's sort of a match-3 RPG like Puzzle Quest, except luck isn't as much of a factor. I like it a lot more!

This announcer is kind of annoying but it's a decent look at the combat system: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oFhJxcPVXk

Insta-bought Alpha Protocol, the hacking minigame with the keyboard and mouse is just infuriating though. It's a pity because I was much more confortable with the KB/mouse control and had to switch to gamepad for that.

I liked ME1 but ME2 was such a diversion and it doesn't look like theres much of the model changing for me3. And I was so hyped for the first one way back when too :(

Oh god... the flashbacks... I'd totally forgotten about that.

I bought the DC collection.

What a mistake to do.

I only played Sonic and Crazy Taxi so far, but, man, those games have aged horribly.

People actually like having a huge backlog? I thought it was assumed most hate it. I know I do. But that's the price we pay for cheap games. Best to just embrace it. And laugh at some of the crap on your list. You're not a member of the cult until you see some game you'll never want to play and go to your transaction history to see how much you got swindled out for it.

I picked up the proper Dreamcast version of Crazy Taxi a while ago. My first impression was of how slow it felt. My memory of that game is of razzing around at such high speeds doing crazy leaps down the Hills but in reality its nothing like that anymore.

I've always held off the DC Collection pack. I'm not sure if I could play Crazy Taxi without having to drive to the original Levis store with "YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH" blasting in my ears..

I want, but my rig can't run it, and I'm poor. Feels bad, man.
I also own both ME2 and AP.

Really enjoying Shining in the Darkness so far, it's quite charming.
Hell yes it is! I recall one year for Christmas that I asked for some new RPGs for either SNES or Genesis. I had never heard of SitD before I got it. Always loved the dungeons in the original Phantasy Star and SitD does them quite well.

Beware of the sudden crab battles!

Tried to play the game 3 times and sadly quit each and every time I encountered the hacking mini game.

What is hard about the hacking minigame on KB/M? Well, the controls are sorta lame but it works regardless. WASD controls one and moving the mouse the other one. Is it that or is it trying to find the matching keycode the problem?

I actually prefer ME and AP to Witcher 2. :\

I'm not a fan of fantasy settings and the game is way hard at the beginning.

The mouse control is just over sensitive and completely inaccurate. I can input the keyboard code on the left, the mouse one is just impossible. I've read somewhere that decreasing the mouse sensitivity could improve on that but I've settled with the gamepad control scheme.

play on easy.

I finally made my mind about Witcher 2 combat. Is horrendous. To the point that I will say that I prefer the first game combat over it. The controls feel unresponsive sometimes, and the animations are painstakingly slow . It's inconsistent, as I had instances when I had my ass handed to me several times, and all of the sudden my Aard sign will start stunning enemies left and right making it a breeze to overcome that fight... It's my favorite game of the year still, but the combat is just awful. I will be curious to see how is it going to be received on console.

edit: sorry for the double post thought that someone would post before me.

What stopped me playing AP is that the raw gameplay doesn't feel satisfying to me, no matter what control method I chose. Shooting was wonky, the mini-games were lame, and the enemy AI was pretty bad.
