These can be solved no problem with KB/mouse with a bit of practice. Just abort the attempt if you notice that you won't make it. Also, if you put 2 or 3 points into hacking, these things get ridiculously easy.

1) It's a game that works better with a pad, no doubt. Use it if you've got it, get one if you don't have one by now.

2) It's two dollars. There is no way you've never wasted more money on worse things.

Come on, I finished Alpha Protocol solely with my notebook's touchpad. The hacking may be a little awkward, but it isn't that bad.

With the way it works, a touchpad would be easier than a mouse.

How is the Sonic Adventure port? Will it work on integrated graphics? I have the fondest of memories during the Dreamcast days. I just know I won't play the other 3 so i may as well just get Sonic.

PS. I still have an invite or 2 for steamgifts, if anyone still needs/wants.

The new releases tab says Renegade Ops just came out. Is it playable yet?

Edit: Apparently Steam also showed that there was a new trailer for the game for a couple minutes today before taking it down. Looks like Renegade Ops is going to get some Half-Life goodies. (Look at the image for the Renegade Ops Trailer)

Forgot all about Payday.

Yeah, so fall is looking more expensive than I thought.

Day 1 purchases for September/October: Renegade Ops, F1 2011 (Day 3, which is worse since no pre-order discount), BF 3, Trackmania 2, and Payday.

My wait for deep discounts is being seriously interrupted. And my backlog whimpers in the corner.

Have they said this in a PR release? Or is it just going off their website/Steam/GreenManGaming. Because so far those sources clearly haven't had any idea when the game is actually releasing.

Okay the PC port of Sonic DX is a disaster. Even in 720p fullscreen (can't even go up to 1080p) the game plays in a tiny box and aliasing is everywhere. Editing the config file doesn't seem to help. Oh and my 360 controller isn't recognized, so I can't change the controls.

So tired of these lame ass ports...


UPDATE: After browsing the Steam forums, I managed to make it run in full screen, but it's still not running at a very high resolution, and it's still super-pixelated. But hey at least it's playable and I only paid 3 bucks for it

Considering at least Valve/Steam is told estimates/dates from the publisher, they wouldn't out and change it unless it was already October most likely. But since they still changed it while in September, I'm pretty sure they've been informed of a delay.

Considering Steam went through the trouble of updating the Store page from Coming in September to Coming in October, I think we can count September out. Faith at 0 for September.
