They have had problems before...especially if you try and get in on those pricing errors...but the main reason is that tons of people experienced issues where buying sub-$20 amounts 3 days in a row on a credit card was getting it declined from then on (either Steam's provider or your CC provider, not sure if it was really ever identified which), which meant you were going to get hosed for any sales the next few days.

Buy games that are on Daily Deal. Wait until the last day to buy the rest.

Anomaly: Warzone Earth.

Reversed tower defense, highly entertaining. My only gripe with it is the quite sudden difficulty jump in the 11th level. But then again, I am a casual player in this genre.

Its design alludes at a potential XBLA / PSN version though. So if you desire a greater complexity, you will want to look at Sol Survivor. I haven't played that one, but the amount of towers is huge in that one.

Both games have demos btw. :)

What are you, my guardian? I get plenty of sun. In fact I'm sunburned to a crisp right now. I don't actually PLAY these games, I just buy them.

During the Holiday sale, I picked up Kane & Lynch 2 for $4.99...considering that the McRib was still available, I made a big mistake with that purchase.

Haha. On Monday, I was so confident there wasn't going to be a sale, I was actually laying outside working on the tan when 1:00 hit. Too bad that storm heading to Mexico has made Florida a miserable cloudfest the last two days.

I've been adding to it in fear of forgetting games I desperately need to pickup to complete my collection. Though there's only a few musts I need to pick up.

My budget: 30-40 euros. I got 38 games last year with 38 euros. I can do this shit.

A note to all: Be sure to check the sale as early as possible. If there's a glitch in the pricing, you can take advantage of it. Bought Witcher 1 for 0.99c.

And I *will* take every possibility of mentioning that for the umpteenth time so fuck yeah and piss off!

The game itself is great though jaggy as fuck in terms of graphics.

I got it for 1.25 in a 4 pack deal and it was way up there for the best deal ever

I am more than ready. Just bought a killer rig and all.

I have a question about summer sale, since its my first time. Is it a week long sale, with generous discounts on game packs? And each day, a special additional discount is put on certain games, correct? So I would 1) only buy games that are discounted additionally, and 2) wait till the last day of the summer sale and purchase any game I would like that has not been discounted additionally?

I was laying out this weekend and had a thermometer next to me: 96 and not a cloud above. There are times when the heat isn't good, but if you're just lying around in the bare minimum of clothing, the sun feels so good on the skin.

It's not toooo bad. Live in PSL here. But then again, I also work in a distribution center with no AC, so that's extra fun!

In regards to the coming Steam sale, I look forward to buying a bunch more games to add to my back catalog!
