I'm not too sure why, but it's working now. I removed run as administrator and also removed compatability mode, restarted steam, and it worked.

Have you tried that? I'd check compatibility mode for both the game and Steam. The admin stuff, not so much.

Edit: There is also an entry for "Arma X Anniversary" in the registry, which appears to be an Arma and Arma II Collection Pack.

I just noticed when looking at the store page for Hydrophobia: Prophecy that Valve added a section for the total amount of recommendations that were given for a particular game.

FM doesn't require Steam, though the installation disc gives you the option to register it on Steam.

So no, it ought to be a separate .exe on Gamer'sGate.

This is clearly an ARG. Anagram for "Guess this sucka":

"huge suck assist" -> Steam will implement an assist function for people who hugely suck at games.

I recommended Evil Genius in the treasure hunt sale where you had to recommend a game to get an achievement. It's the only game I've recommended so far though.

It may be too early to start F5-ing the Steam page, but I'm doing it anyway.
With these big sales, the timing does not tend to be as exact as with the Daily Deals.

I think there was a lot of shit going on in the registry updates plus the Midweek Madness ends earlier than usual.

There's a lot. The Rockstar, Star Wars and MumboJumbo packs all say "June 2011", there are various other packs labelled June 2011, and the killing floor summer event starts today.

Why are you getting Black Ops now? I doubt you will get a reasonable discount on it ($19.99 would be reasonable) and there is a new COD coming in just a few months.
