Like have one set of games on one and another set on the other?

Eric WK said:Yeah, you can do that with Steam Tool. That's its entire purpose.
LiK said:wat? everyone told me that was not possible. was this a recent update? i thought you can only play your library on the same HDD.

It supports the 360 pad perfectly.filipe said:Does anyone know if Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light supports a 360/PS3 pad? I can't stand using WASD to control her.

Also, will it work using a wireless 360 pad, and a DS3 via motionjoy (wired) in said co-op?

Now I'm tempted to get the Remastered Trilogy on the PS3 or something, though I'll lose Prince of Persia 2008 and Forgotten Sands, any suggestions?
Does Hitman: Blood Money look dated?
Flying_Phoenix said:So I can have games on separate drives and just open them up via Steam and play? Like it would be unnoticeable?
Sinatar said:The "remastered" versions on PS3 have no graphical enhancements beyond resolution, which you get with the PC versions anyways.
Blood Money looks alright, some parts of it actually look quite good, but some things (like the character models) look their age.
Eric WK said:Exactly.
Flying_Phoenix said:I assume it isn't that difficult to do?
If you do the HUD fix or the widescreen fix, turn off steam auto updating and add the game as a shortcut.anddo0 said:Question about KOTOR.
Has anyone gotten the game to run in widescreen mode successfully without the hud being screwed up?
I've tried for the last hour trying to get it to run in 1440x900/1600x900 with no luck. The resolutions work. The hud is the problem. I've tried the 1440x900 hud fix with mo luck.

Cipherr said:Nope, not hard at all theres this steam mover program you can use, forgot the name of it, but I used it to move frequently played titles over to my ssd, and leave the main steam drive on my Spinpoint F3.

I'm getting 25-30 fps dammit. Someone suggested to turn on Catylist AI in CCC, but that didn't do anything.
I thought Ambient Occlusion was pretty obvious.Sinatar said:The games implementation of SSAO is completely bonjaxed, I shut that off and almost tripled my frame rate with very little discernable difference in visuals.
All the female character models look like porn stars. Which is funny as hell.Sinatar said:Blood Money looks alright, some parts of it actually look quite good, but some things (like the character models) look their age.

coopolon said:I've recently played through Sands of Time and Warrior Within and they look pretty good at 1600x1200 or if you mess with it 1080p although the hud doesn't work right then. I mean, Sands of Time is almost 8 years old, it doesn't look PoP 2008. But I also can't imagine the console remastered versions looking better. Is the HD trilogy running at 720 or 1080? I seem to recall when the trilogy coming out people commenting that the games don't look very good.
All the games support gamepad well enough, although in the first one you have to keep a keyboard nearby since you can't navigate the menus with a gamepad.
edit: oh, and on pc you can use a trainer to make the combat a WHOLE lot less annoying. I hate the combat in those games, and probably would give up half way without trainers to make it fun.
gdt5016 said:Both of those, off, no real difference. AO does hit me for 6-7 fps, but with it off, I'm hitting ~28.

I have it automatically sync to my dropbox... perfect setup for me, IMO.

It's definitely not perfect though, I have had some problems with it in the past, but was always able to fix them easily enough. Haven't set mine up with dropbox yet, though probably will soon. I wasn't aware you could do it automaticlaly, when the feature first came out I'm pretty sure he said it would not work automatically.

Yeah, it's great. I have it set to use my dropbox settings, keep saves in individual archives (so it's not uploading a huge archive to Dropbox every time a single save changes), and then to keep the archives within a subfolder in my dropbox. All being simple checkboxes within the program, with nothing more to do other than remembering to run it once in a while.coopolon said:It really is pretty fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough.
