Probably the definitive tower defense game in my mind. Other games might have some gimmicky elements to make them stand out from the crowd, or they try a hybrid approach, but DG is the essence of the TD genre. The graphics look a bit dated, even maxed out, so hopefully they'll address that with the new engine they have planned for DG2 (assuming their Kickstarter pans out).

I loved the Portal 2 ARG content for DG, as well as obtaining the Winter achievement. I'd say "One of these days, I'll get around to playing the game proper", but I say that about virtually everything and it never happens.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
I have consulted the runes and they have advised that there will be a minimum of 1 new game on sale in just 5 to 10 short minutes.

It has been foretold.

Yeah, if you're thinking about it do not buy Dungeon Defenders - yet.

There's a Dungeon Defenders Summer 2012 Collection in the registry - seems to include all DLC including the ones that aren't on sale currently. No price yet but will most likely be the same or cheaper than it is currently.

I bought the Summoner yesterday. 1,35€ are okay.

Wonder if you can buy the DLCs seperately during the sale though.

How are the DLCs? I loved the base game.

Man, now I want M&M's. :(

(fake edit, already beaten)

And yes, I'm not really a tower defense fan, but Defense Grid is pretty awesome, along with Plants vs Zombies and Orcs must Die. Does the free Portal stuff still work in Defense Grid?

You and I have the exact same taste in TD games it would seem. These three are the main ones that stood out for me. Sol Survivor felt like such a blatant clone of DG, it was ridiculous.

A.R.E.S. OST
Dustforce OST
Darwinia OST
Dear Esther OST
DEFCON OST
Scoregasm OST
PixelJunk Eden OST
Bit.Trip Beat OST
Frozen Synapse OST
Psychonauts OSTs
Q.U.B.E. OST

Stuff. Stuff everywhere. I feel as though I should explain:

- I don't actually want everything listed. Most of it is just filling the gaps in cases where I own at least one game of a franchise (which is why Fable 3 is listed, despite the fact it's literally the worst game ever)
- I don't discriminate between cases of owning some or no DLC; for instance, I don't actually need to buy every piece of Dungeon Defenders DLC as I already own about a third of it, but I still do lack some, so it's listed
- I couldn't care less for OSTs, but when the game proper is discounted, the accompanying OST is cheap as chips

I've emboldened the high-priority items.

The Lost Eternia Shards pack adds a healthy amount of content, and the extra characters (barb, summoner and EV) are worth picking up. The Halloween costume pack is pretty cool too. The rest aren't too great.

That's Dungeon Defenders.

I liked defense grid so much I got every single achievement.

I haven't done this for any game, although I'm well on track to finish Just Cause 2 with all but the "Legendary Agent" achievement (finish the campaign on the hardest difficulty level; pretty sure I'm just playing on Normal).

The sun has recently informed me that an even larger sale will befall us #tomorrow.

The only one I remotely aspire to is Killing Floor where I'm about 80%.
