If Bohemia knows anything about money and Steam sales, they will let it be on sale and VALVE WILL RAKE IN THE DOUGH.
I suspect Bohemia knows that WITHOUT any sales, it was hitting the #1 sales spot for quite some time, right? There wasn't any need for a sale to boost the numbers, especially when there were server issues.

If it does, I don't see it going for much. It's still destroying on the top sellers list, even against new releases.
Its basically been the number 1 game for the past month now. Only getting broken up by the new release or sale. There is no reason for a large sale, but they would be foolish not to part-take still. Something like 33-50% off. Making it 15 or 20$ for the pack needed. Just to get the "I just have to buy it on Steam and on Sale crowd!"

Valve says when they put up a daily-deal/sale the quantity of sales increase exponentiallyY, even after the sale is over.
MATH nets them more money after the sale day for the game is up and it's back to regular price... It's Genius!

Have the boss fights been patched/fixed in Deus Ex:Human Evolution or do you still have to glitch them? I played the first couple of hours on the PS3 last year didn't get into it then.

Selling more copies at the moment might get them additional negative publicity from their server/patch issues, AND might annoy Rocket. They're hard-pressed enough as it is. They can use that same math to apply at a later point if they ever stop having a constant steady stream of income.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I assume that there's more people playing this on Steam than not, especially with the recent sale. I'm not gonna update it, just so I can play with a larger pool of peeps in the MP.

True, but the point being made was that it's unlikely that Xseed is involved. This isn't a simple case of localizing an already dev'd PC port, but an all new PC port of the game. And from the precedents, there's a higher chance of MS fronting for this before Xseed, as odd as even I think that sounds.

Yes. NISA said last year that they have big plans to support Steam in the future, but wasn't announcing any specific title. I guess Cladun will be the first.
