Depends on the recency of release, I suppose: I doubt you'll see, say, 75% off Dust. As an example, A Game of Thrones: Genesis was part of the Winter Sale 2011 achievement meta-game but saw a relatively mere 50% discount ($40 > $20) on the count of it releasing just a few months earlier. It's the only meta-game game (that rolls off the tongue nicely) I didn't pick up, so my Winter Sale '11 badge is, annoyingly, short of the final mark by a piddly 2 XP.

Yes, they are quite amazing.
It won't appeal to everybody though. The game is quite hardcore and doesn't have a traditional game structure at all.
It looks like you already caught this in the other thread, but quoting someone else: "No, he's saying that they know approximately when the game will come out, plus/minus 3.5 days. Not within the next week, but rather they know the week it will come out."

I hope so, I want to spend my dollars in that game. However, that would screw my summer sale budget. I guess Brave new world will have to wait some months.

I have 191 hours of mount and blade warband myself, it's my most played game on steam. Most of that came from single player plus all the totally awesome mods, though a good portion is from multiplayer.
So yes the game is that good. I'm even thinking of reinstalling it even though I have a huge backlog.

Tomb Raider has some horrible achievement ideas
Nothing wrong with wanting to be TF2, surely.
I forgot as well, was just checking the achievements real quick and saw these drunken mistakes.
I do need the 1939 map pack, but since GamersGate is missing a few other pieces of Tomb Raider DLC that I don't have, I may as well just wait for a sale on Steam itself.
Enhanced Steam isn't showing it, but wasn't Dungeon Siege Complete just $5 like a week ago? The one with DS1, DS2, DS3, and DS3: DLC.
Most developers are awful at creating multiplayer achievements.
