Resident Evil 6 is $16 on sale from GMG with code GMG20-KCDKK-H4TPB, and I think anybody who likes the core combat in the RE games should give it a shot at that price due to Mercenaries.

I'd say, given the content and Cacpcom's shitty sales, that's a pretty solid price for a lot of game. Even if you find the campaign to be shit (I did), Mercs is superb and justifies almost every weird design decision in the game. Seven characters (4 unlockable), 9 (6 unlockable), 6 costumes with their own loadouts (all unlockable). Justified my purchase at $20 and then some.

I might create a LTTP thread on RE6 mercs later.

I would say about 4.

It seems that companies are already mobilizing to patch out their existing games. These guys are motivated to do so with long tail profits being so high on PC.

You have to remember, its not just Microsoft as stake here, big publishers have been using GFWL for years. Microsoft will patch the client for offline activation before it goes down, they can't just leave games unable to be activated.

- F1 2010 and 2011 (non-current yearly instalments are quickly forgotten about by publishers)

- Section 8 and Section 8: Prejudice (both games have an active player base of next to zero)
- Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV (Capcom may see fit to just give existing owners a discount coupon for the upcoming Ultra release)

I was only able to play with people in Europe, I'm assuming because of the time of day and Gamescom, but the gameplay was pretty solid. The ping was horrible though because of the distance.

Felt like Counter-Strike with a couple of new features added on. Roll, lean, kill streaks.

The F2P system seems horrible. I calculated the time it would take to earn a primary weapon and it was around 200 games played.
