Hell yes. It is perfect example of how much scarier games were back in the day. Playing as a Marine has few equals in the level of sheer intensity.
I hadn't used Steam in a while but the holdiay sale got me back into it. There's all sorts of older games I want to pick up now just to have readily available again and even new stuff like A.I. War that looks so amazing. I should just buy this stuff up and be done with fretting over it.
Is there a reason why steamapps wouldnt be on this comp? I'm trying to install the storage chest mod for DAO and in the Steam file all it has are shortcuts to Steam and Steam Support? I'm confused. I cant find steamapps anywhere nor the bin directory for Dragon Age.

Or try updating your DirectX. I bought retail, so I don't have this problem/haven't heard of it before.
I suggest try updating DirectX (if you haven't already) first.

I Recently sold my PS3 for reasons of my own (doesn't matter to you) and deactivated my PSN account. So now I have a PAL PS3 account with the following games :
Warhawk + all boosters
Trash panic
Nobi Nobi Boy
Crash badicoot Ps1
LocoRoco Cocorechoo
I would like to trade it for 20 euros/dollars in Steam gifts
(Fine print : Account is not active on any PS3's at the moment, thus has 3 activations left. The account becomes yours, you change the password and trade as you wish. There are no personal details attached to the account, games were bought with a 50 PSN account.)

What's the deal with Dirt 2? Thought it was a good price, but downloaded the demo first just to make sure there weren't any surprises. I can't launch it.
When I launched for the first time, it said it needed to install 3 things. The first was DirectX, then I think it did the whole Raptor3D crap (which it installed), and then it just stopped. I can't launch it. Restarted the computer and Steam and it does nothing when I try and launch.
Anyone know if the 3rd item was Windows Live? I installed it on the Windows XP partition and don't have Live on it.

Both of the services threw a hissy fit over Steamworks, but it was mainly because of the Modern Warfare 2 announcement. Impulse has totally dropped anything that has Steamworks integrated, while Direct2Drive has not done so. Both services will not be carrying any future Steamworks integrated games though. It's the reason why you don't see Supreme Commander 2 or Aliens vs Predator up for preorder on either service.
