The game could use some polish, a more predictable targeting system and maybe some better skill balancing but I love it to death. There really isn't anything else like it. Absolute chaos.

So anyway, I bought Plain Sight (What an utterly uninteresting name) and I've clocked in 2 hours so far, it kicks ass, so much ass, only played Death Match mode though, but it's sweet.

Really hectic at times, the only real way to play is with 19 other people .

I noticed in the screenshots on Steam that some robots have hats and shit, that would be kinda cool if you got points from the matches that you could unlock special gear with, only for looks of course.

I hope the devs keep supporting it and that the community doesn't die or something, it's not hard to find a game at all and most people I've played with are positive about the game.

Turn off V-sync in-game and try to force it through your video card drivers.

Yup, as suggested this is one game that goes from horrible to amazing (in regards to control lag), just by downloading and using D3DOverrider (which you should do for all your games you use v-sync with).

Agreed I unfortunately bought it and my god is it a horrid game broken match making constant host migration you name it theres a bug for it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT its a waste of time and you will spend most of it in match making trying to find a match of your liking you wont get to play the game modes you want either

There are hardly any bugs and host migration only happens if the host rages. Which isn't that often. Maybe you don't have the right ports open on your router, but match-making goes very quickly for me, usually ~15 seconds to fill up a game.

If the game had dedicated servers it would be ok, maybe even a server browser but no it doesnt you cant play what you want all the time and half the time you end up with foreigners.

I am just going to say this I warn everyone to stay away from this game its a waste of time and space use that time to do something else go watch porn or something use that download data towards that CODMW2 isnt worth any ones time

I don't care about other peoples complaints, I haven't encountered any bugs from my 138 hours of play time. The only issue I have experienced from time to time is connecting to my friends lobby. QQ a little more dude.

Custom content is a lame complaint when no one would make content anyways. There was hardly any custom content made by people for MW1 and it was very rare to see servers with it. I don't think I played a single custom map in MW1 ever and I didn't try to avoid them or anything.

The lack of dedicated servers is disappointing, but my experience with the match-making has been quite positive and it has worked better for me than match-making ever has on any of the consoles.

They are separate "games" on the Steam games list so all you will get is the MW2 Multiplayer .exe.

They will. I wouldn't be surprised if the free weekend coincides with the announcement of the PC version of the DLC. I also wonder why there are two DLC packages for the game on the registry, which was what LovingSteam has said.

I read your post. And I still disagree. Custom content is a major selling point for me when I buy PC games. MW1 having very little custom content does not mean it couldn't have been better with MW2. Maybe the tools were shit? Perhaps the community just wasn't there. I don't know, but perhaps those things could have been improved with the sequel.

I can't imagine the state one must be in to defend the removal of features that make PC gaming great, but this is GAF and we'll defend just about anything. No offence to you in particular.
