So Prototype 2 is all kinds of stupid fun. Been playing a New Game+ on Hard and burned through roughly half the game in one sitting. It's just so much fun navigating the openworld because the controls are so simple, it's just two buttons. Just two buttons but they allow you to do so much so effortlessly and it's so satisfying. You'll be running up walls, vaulting over anything in your way, running as fast as the Flash, leaping over buildings and flying through the air like Superman. I might actually 100% this game in fairly short order, there's only 5 achievements left to get.

AVP09 just in general is a pretty fun game. Better than Aliens Colonial Marines easily and the different campaigns all work for the specific species. The MP is where it's the best though and it looks like there are still a decent amount of players. Not sure how much of an issue the matchmaking will be in terms of connecting though.

i kinda want that game to be good, tho i'm not expecting much

like i feel like mars war logs had a lot of cool stuff that would be overpowered by jank if it wasn't such an unique setting for a rpg. so like now with something really traditional i fear for this game

then again a developer that calls itself spiders doesn't deserve my mercy

From what I've seen, which, admittedly, isn't a lot, the game is basically Focus' Kingdoms of Amalur, which I'm okay with, just not enough to pre-order... unless I get some DLC/a game I don't already own in return.

You don't need to be taken seriously, what you need is groupies. It's almost the same thing.

But it's all second fiddle to using avatars from little girl's shows, or fan art thereof. Though I guess anime can encapsulate that. Hmm.

yea it's not really the kind of game you preorder

like besides being a budget game i feel like the game comes across really generic, which just doesn't elicit impossible excitement which is kind of the only real reason to preorder a game nowadays

well that and it being dirt cheap

Come to think of it, I can't remember why I felt compelled to pre-order Amalur. This was a good few months before I caught the collecting bug so maybe I simply had nothing else to play at the time.

Yeah I think he just wasn't thinking when he typed and the hit submit. As for GUN it's easily the best western game on PC aside from the Call of Juarez stuff.
