I have to wonder what a developer's thought process is when they add 15 steam trading cards to their game. Do they think that it will lead to an increased number of market trades and thus higher profit for them? Because that sure as shit doesn't happen. The number of people who are interested in completing 15 card sets must not even be in 3 figures, globally. Instead you get a situation where each of the trading cards sells for 3-5 cents on the first day after release.
Even more baffling is when it's a game where they developer had to give out free copies to bribe people to vote for it on Greenlight.
