6 players is the overall multiplayer cap. The summon limit is 3 friendlies, but bosses are pretty amusing when it's you and 3 others swinging away at them.

Cleared a couple of easy games out of my backlog (Eets Munchies (ok, but a little convoluted in places) and Scribblenauts Unlimited (far too easy for 95 percent of the time)). Now onto the next one!

The top player count chart (stats page) only shows the top 100 games being played on Steam.

Firefall also has its own launcher (completely non steam) so Steam numbers could be misleading.

Hmm, from reading the forum, seems like the game might be on the decline.

I guess I'll download and try Warframe instead. Looks somewhat similar.

Not cancelled but R* has barely said a word about the project since 2009. The reason for that is R* had no idea Sony was planning on prematurely announcing the game at E3, which is particularly funny in hindsight now that it's no longer an exclusive.

JaseC, I remember this being Sony exclusive. When was it cleared up that it will be multiplat? So it is of interest to us as well. Was there ever any kind of trailer or something like that?

The MS Black Tusk studio is making a Splinter Cell-like agent game. I saw it in E3. They said the trailer visuals were the goal and it looked pretty cool. I think they are focusing on stealth there.

This Agent game could be a similar thing only multiplat. I would rather see RDR on PC but I read R* had a rough time making the game and thus don't care about it anymore. No clue how believable that is.

A few years ago Sony started dodging the question of whether or not the game is still exclusive, with Tretton saying:

You couldn’t have said it better when you said Agent from Rockstar. I work for Sony Computer Entertainment. The minute I start working for Rockstar, I’ll have some definitive information for you on Agent, but I’d suggest you interview one of those guys. That’s what I’ve said for the last five years, and I’ll continue to do that.

He would have known the answer, of course. Either R* paid back what Sony had invested into LA Noire or it didn't.
