I guess this is cheap if you somehow need 11 copies of each game

Edit: looks like it's steam key per bundle, no individual keys.

I beat Thimbleweed Park last night. It requires two play-throughs to 100% achievements.

Overall it's an excellent P&C Adventure game. There are a few places it stumbles but I'm not actually sure if it was *intended* to be "bad" in those particular instances. Without giving out spoilers, I'll give an example that was used in-game.

Very early on in the game, there is a moment where the fourth wall is broken and they reassure the player that Thimbleweed Park is not like Sierra games where the game can suddenly end and you'll need to back track through saves. But there actually *is* one instance where, KABOOM, game over, you shouldn't have done that, reload.

We, the players, are given fourth-wall-breaking information that is purposely false. While at first I thought this was just tongue-in-cheek stuff to laugh at older P&C tropes, instead I'm now thinking that there is an added layer of mystery that we're supposed to figure out?

The first half of the game starts with a Mystery Murder whose protagonists have hidden agendas themselves. During the course of the game as you reveal the plot, I almost feel like the mystery inverts itself. Like the information that we're given as players is, once again, false.

That is to say, I think there are multiple endings, but I've only experienced one. I experienced the one where I thought the fourth wall breaking information was truthful.

Naturally I could be WELL over-thinking things, but having experienced an ending that was kind of lackluster and re-thinking events that happened in the game, I have to wonder if there aren't more layers.

Anyhoo, Thimbleweed Park is solid even if you take everything at face value in the game.

Side-note: the voice actor for Leisure Suit Larry uses the Larry voice in the game. Not sure why that is either. MORE MYSTERIES.

Great game! Did you play through it twice? I've only beaten it once so far. I thought that sudden death was a pretty obvious joke ending with an autosave right in front of it (if, for some reason, someone didn't heed the warning to make a manual save).
I loved all of the little easter eggs in the game, like
that i could feed chuck the plant radioactive waste, making it huge and then it ate leonhard

This offer makes no sense.
Or is it only me?
how do you even find 10 people not having all those games, let alone friends

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.
The Thor movies are Marvel's weakest link but damn, that's a fine trailer.
Great use of The Immigrant's song. And I usually really don't like it when classic rock songs are being used in trailers. (or even more soulcrushing; commercials)
It's depressing being a DC fan with an interest in watching a new Thor movie and no desire to watch Justice League
I know how you feel. :(

That INSIDE ending...
Came right out of left field.
Loved the game, both tech-wise (both art direction and the AA solution used result in one amazing looking game) and design-wise (absolute improvement over Limbo's die and die over again, most of puzzles were logical, I only had to look up a solution once).
Now to try to get all the missing secrets...

That is a weird sale. Why do they want to give away so many games? I'm sure they could have done as 5 additional bundles and it would have sold as well.

The Sexy OT is up.

The Sexy Brutale
- Wok
The Sexy Brutale is a Murder-Mystery Adventure developed by Cavalier Game Studios and Tequila Works. Inside the casino mansion, its inhabitants are reliving the same day over and over again - trapped in a nightmare loop full of murders and intrigues to unravel.

For fans (and haters) of Bioshock Infinite, here's a quick, mostly spoiler-free gush about the game in this semi-new series that NPR is doing on video games: http://www.npr.org/sections/alltechconsidered/2017/04/09/523019414/reading-the-game-bioshock-infinite Article spoiler and trigger alert: Citizen Kane is mentioned.

I like the idea NPR is going for with this series, and I don't mind the writer they picked to do it, but I feel like it needs a much longer format or some freedom to really dive into the games it picks. It ends up reading like a quick "why you should play this" more than it needs to when we're discussing games that are relatively old by gaming standards.

What if the game already supports the xbox controller?
I think most games will usually default to a configuration but if you hit the button in the middle of a Steam Controller or DS4, you'll get to the screen where you can browse controller configurations and select one.

I usually just pick the top rated one

Steam might need to be in Big Picture Mode to get to that screen.

Good idea? Look for a NABS config.

It usually does, though there's a few gimmicky games that had some promotion related to the controller that default you to their custom version (might have things like using the on screen menu thingy and whatnot) that you have to go to the normal mode for. This is only a couple games though. Everything else should default to basic controls.

No, I haven't beaten it twice yet. I beat it on Hard mode first but I need to replay a good portion because I played a four-hour stint towards the end and made no saves, so I was stuck with an auto-save AFTER using the balloon animal.

Thankfully it's not that bad as I'll get to finish the dust achievement by finishing up the hard mode again and this time, finishing up Ransome, Rey and Reyes before going to Delores.

Ordered a wired xbox one controller. Sticks on my 360 pad are getting 'loose', time to upgrade

Just FYI in case you aren't aware, Wireless X1 controllers will switch to wired if you plug in a mico-usb cable into them.

This wasn't the case with 360 controllers.

Yep, and not only this, but the newest models only need bluetooth to connect. I switch my controller between my steam link, corded desktop, and even my tablet all the time, it's great having that flexibility. That said, not on sale they are pretty expensive.

Oh okay thanks, but doesn't really make a difference for me. Was €55, reasonable price

ps4 controller is also pretty cool, really easy to hook up with that program and it has a pretty good everything and you can even use the touchpad to control the mouse cursor, it's pretty good.

it does have kind of a hideous design compared to the ps3 controller but i got mine in blue and you can customize the backlight color so it's not all bad
