Just a heads up, Amazon has the GOTY edition for the same price and a 5 dollar credit
Awesome, guess that's where I'll buy it then.
Edit: actually, that deal is over on Amazon.

Screw it, bit the bullet on both of them. Doesn't Dead Island have some single player mod to make it really playable?
I'm still waiting until it's $5I want to bite on Skyrim at 40$, but I'm wondering if I should wait for it to go lower. Advice?

So glad I got Skyrim for $10 at toys r us lol
Rage, Dead Island and Dear Esther are all really tempting. Although maybe I should wait and see if something I really want is on sale in the next few days...

I was going to insta buy it, but saw the meta score and reviews and steam forum posts.I see that Krater is on sale in the indie section for 66% off..is it safe to buy?

Dunno, but you'll lose nothing by waiting till the last day.Wonder if New Vegas Ultimate Edition will go sub 10. Haven't played any of the DLC on my PS3 copy so it's worth a buy on PC.
Hmmmm I wonder if the Witcher 2 will go lower during the winter sale.
Skyrim is 14.99 at Impulsedriven/Gamestop Digital/whatever you want to call it: https://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-IMP-W2491. Registers to Steam. The $ version seems to be priced quite a bit higher at $29.99.
£9.99 in the UK.
Christ, that's tempting.

GOTY/Ultimate/Complete Edition is most certainly coming sometime in 2013 (when they finish all their DLCs) and that's the version I'm buying (Yes, you read it right, I haven't played Skyrim yet ) ). Morrowind, Oblivion, F3, F3:NV...all those games had those editions, Skyrim willl surely follow. My only worry is there will be a GOTY version at some point with lots of lovely extras

I guess I should play the other 40 games or so in my backlog before I add a 100+ hour game to it.

I'd buy Dear Esther. It's not exactly a game but I liked the experience and it's done really well. I'd say 2$ is about right for the amount of "gameplay" your getting out of it.
I really enjoyed Dear Esther but it isn't really a game more a story told to you as you walk along the path. There are quite a few points where you just stand and enjoy and enjoy the scenery - like going on a day trip to a Scottish island.
