I occasionally wonder if Swift will crawl back to Valve when Airtight inevitably closes (the company's output has gone from retail game -> PS360 and PC DD game -> iOS exclusive).

I remember reading that Viking had a few issues when it was released - have those been fixed? It's £5 at the moment so I'll probably pick it up before the end of the sale if it doesn't get a daily deal.

I'm sure this has already been covered in the topic, but a friend of mine kindly surprised me with a copy of Saints Row the Third, the normal version. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, I accepted gratefully, and later decided to pick up the rest of the DLC while it was on sale. Season Pass? Apparently that doesn't cover it. So ignoring the Unlockable pack and the Bloodsucker pack everyone in the Steam Community was warning against, I did the math, annnnd...

...Buying "The Full Package," complete with another copy of the game, was cheaper than buying the unique DLC separately. And because it's Steam, if I redeem it, that copy of the full game just goes away.

It's sitting in my Gifts area for now, I haven't redeemed it. I also bought Quantum Conundrum before seeing Stallion Free's post... ouch...

I technically bought Quantum Conundrum twice before, and now I want to play it out of morbid curiosity and Steam is having trouble even prepping the download.

Since this is my first big Steam sale, I've got a quick question..

Is 75% pretty much the best you're going to do?

Some stuff I'm looking at is already 75% off before a Flash/Daily Deal. Should I go ahead and bite?

I think they're part of the download but you need to register them on your EA account and activate them. The game installs a system service just for this game to do this.

Might as well repeat my usual heads-up for this game: If you're playing the game for the first time, either disable the two Feastday Gift / Prank DLCs or stay away from any gifts at the camp merchants that are free. Using them will screw up the loyalties of your party members.

Damn GAF seems to really HATE Quantum Conundrum nowadays, i wonder how the game managed to get an almost 80% gamerankings average out of 39 reviews for PC (which is pretty good) though? Maybe they only played the demo as well, since some people seemed to have enjoyed that (like me) but hated the full game :(

80% on very old games or games within a pack (you get 75%, then the pack is discounted, the gmae can be crazy low).

75% is what you should expect.

I really enjoyed the game. I didn't realize they had released any DLC so that's exciting.

Things can sometimes hit 90% off but if it's something that's already cheap before the discount, you'll only be saving a few cents. Wait til end if you're just adding to your backlog but if you're looking to play something now, you can buy now and still feel good about it.
