Mine still hasn't moved for 14 days, I'll be pretty disappointed if I don't get it by Friday. I have a GLS and Parcelforce tracking number, just neither of them are giving me anything.

Add another person to that. I practically flew out the door to GameStop after reading this and they said they got some controllers coming in Friday for pre-order. Put money down and hopefully I can walk in and pick it up so I can cancel my November pre-order through Valve.

Curious when you ordered. I am kind of hoping that some of the 11/10 orders get moved up. I originally had them on the website for 10/16 but something got screwed up with my order so I decided to order them in store with cred it I had.

So if GAME dispatched stuff today, early on, and sent it Royal Mail first class, shouldn't it come tomorrow? In my experience Royal Mail first class has always been the day after. Unless GAME can tell them to hold it...?
I pre-ordered in-store in GS Ireland. On Monday I saw that the store is closed for refurb. They're supposed to be open again by Friday, but now I have The Fear.

Same here. It's been stuck on "Label Created" this whole time. Just checked it again. I feel like a junkie checking fedex repeatedly like this.
EDIT: Whoa. I just refreshed my page and it updated. Now it says it's in transit. Well hopefully it comes by friday so I can get my steam link on.

It's why the Steam Link exists. The controller on its own won't work in other rooms. It'll be too far away from the receiver.

They handed mine over to the Carol Stream IL FedEx facility, but it hasn't moved from there yet. I hope I get it by Friday. Illinois to Buffalo isn't too far, especially if they start moving it East overnight.
In theory, yes. You will have it on the 16th for sure though

Seriously though, I pre-ordered on day 1. Just happens that GS is the exclusive supplier in ireland. We cant order it from steam at all.

Maybe so. I walked into GameStop on Tuesday, placed a preorder, and the girl said it will come in either Thursday or Friday. She said they expect to one or two for sale other than pre-orders.

Yeah. They emailed yesterday to say it was being processed, at which point they took the money. Then this morning they said it was dispatched via Royal Mail 1st class. So it should be here tomorrow but will definitely have reached me for the 16th

I have a laptop for streaming, that's not why I was asking. I was asking because I like to run a long HDMI cable to the living room and play games in 3D on my projector. The reception from my Bluetooth controllers is spotty while that far away. As soon as I can stream games in 3D (never) it'll be a non-issue.
Yup, mine just updated as well. Still says it's estimated to arrive today, but it's literally impossible for it to arrive before my university's mail room closes. Hopefully tomorrow it'll get here (I don't want to have to wait till the 16th...).
There is a Wireless extender that comes with the Steam Controller. It's basically a dock for the wireless dongle, that you can connect to the PC via usb. If you are willing to route a USB cable to somewhere nearer to where you'll be, it might work.
Call around. Some only have stock for preorders, some appear to have extra (or someone might have cancelled). I also preordered today for friday pickup.
