I played the original so it's more of a "I'm not sure if I want to replay it again" kind of decision. It says the game has been reimagined, but I'm not entirely sure what that means.

Seeing as my new laptop can apparently run Skyrim, I'm tempted to double dip. Hmm :/
If Valve did that they'd have assholes trying to sell the game on eBay. The way they're doing it, if anybody wants the game all they have to do is sign up for a Steam account, install the client, and get the game themselves. Much smarter and it guarantees new potential customers.

Thanks, I decided to pick that up in the hope that it's better than Fable 2. For $1, I won't be too annoyed if it isn't that good today.
Well posters here said it was on sale there a few days ago so what I'm really asking is if the Humble Store does repeats within a sale?

Long live the Queen is still $4.98 on the developer's site for those of us who couldn't get it because of community vote craziness and this link will allow you to change your license key into a steam key. I just got mine and they've got a myriad of paying options (even Amazon payments). It was probably the smoothest transaction I've had between gamersgate, GMG, Steam and Amazon so far.
This game is kinda dark. I played the demo and I'm really enjoying it so far.

To avoid any grinches, we suggest jumping into campaign mode and get the basics down before moving into the competitive modes.
You can also check out some guides, read the forums and ask questions, check out some art, read the comic, watch some movies, and most importantly have fun!
Some other quick tips:
Before the game: HOOK UP YOUR MICROPHONE! Communication is important in L4D2. Make sure you can keep in contact with your teammates.
In Game: stay with your teammates. L4D2 is all about teamwork and leaving your dentist friend behind to go off on your own will only get you killed. It doesn't matter that you glow!
Post Game: Make friends. If you are having fun with a group, send them friend invites or join a common group.
And there is more!
You can listen to the Midnight Riders. Download and vote on Workshop items. Dive into the modding tools,and create your own items for the workshop including the scripts for the Extended Mutation System.

Evo is a bit easier and has a better learning curve, but ultimately if you REALLY sucked at HD you'll probably have a hard time in this one too.

It's a strategy game with a grim interior under a cute mask. I had a lot of fun with the demo last night and this is the cheapest way to get it. It's definitely not the best deal of the holiday, but it's worth the $5 and Kentucky Route 0/LLTQ just got screwed hard by Super Hexagon.
Also, Super Hexagon is hard, but addictive. Half an hour went by in a flash. That game is dangerous lol.
Same for me, but I just bit the bullet and went in anyway. I was planning on holding an extra $5 for my gamersgate blue coins since I have some left over for RE6, but whatevs.I want to play it but my games buying money is tied up in Steam Wallet funds

Surely can't be actual played time, probably lots of alt+tabbing and what not, I have that with a lot of games. I have like 80 hours of Mafia 2 as a result lol.

Caught my eye but I am waiting on it, seems to be very early on.
I didn't expect all that. I guess there are a ton of videos.
MK9 came out on PC and was 10GB but the videos were 720p and low bitrate - looked TURRIBLE.
If the larger file size means a smaller discrepancy between gameplay and cutscenes, it's a worthwhile trade off.
