Really you can't see the difference between those pics and Dust? Dust looks like most of the creepy furry stuff found on deviantart.
Just like with humans, I'm fine with anthropomorphic animals as long as it is done tastefully. That's why I love Blacksad while I hate Dust's artstyle.
There was a thread about this recently, btw.
Yeah, once you look into the abyss of fandoms it taints the rest of it. Especially when people start dredging up the worst of it to display to the rest of humanity. You just gotta try to divorce the two and enjoy these things for what they are.

Just finished Brothers A Tale of Two Sons fellow GAFfers:
The game have a nice story and pretty environments in really nice locations. It's a pretty short game but I believe it's well worth playing. I must say, however, that it's not a game for everyone. While some may see a nice story, others can see a game with almost no gameplay elements, lack of puzzles or they just might find it boring. To me, it was a nice experience.
I've noticed some people complaining about how bad the game decided for you to control both of the Brothers and I would like to add something: for those that do not know, there's a younger brother and a older brother. You control the older brother with the left analogue stick and the younger brother with right analogue stick. Because you need to move both at the same time it may get a bit frustrating, however, I believe this was essential because, you know, brothers will be brothers. Not always they go easy on each other and it may sound difficult for you to get used at this controlling scheme because sometimes it's hard to work as a team, but when it works, it works well.
Also, this might be SPOILERS even there's no words in here:

sorry Ive never seen creepy furry deviantart stuff as you call it (I mean it, hit me up with a SFW example so I understand). Dust reminds me a lot of the first pic I posted, Disney's Robin Hood.
And Dust isnt done tastefully you say... ok then.
Sometimes the market just stops updating any new listings. It'll probably eventually go up but who knows when. Could be 5 minutes or an hour.

I'm not fond of the art style either, but I can't really see what makes Dust's art tasteless. Is it just the similarity with deviantart drawings?

Have to go with this. Dust is in a completely other, furrier league than say, biker mice from mars. Dust looks absolutely horrendous to me.
Anyone who says they wouldn't marry Twilight Sparkle if she were human is a liar. Girl is straight up wife material.
I, like most, want to buy pc games as heavily discounted as possible, but I love the people who buy them at the higher price and don't understand the need to reprimand or mock them, they're supporting the devs/publishers more than we are and ensuring a brighter future for pc gaming.

It sounds real good, but I've used up all the money I laid out for the sale. Too bad.
When I say "abyss of fandoms" i mean the very low point of them. Not that fandoms themselves are an "abyss."
It has nice gameplay and lovely art direction.
That's a fine selection of games.
To avoid any major issues with GFWL in case you will play Dark Souls soon, I would like to add that, Opting OUT from the Steam Beta helped me with all GFWL games I've been playing lately. Hope it helps a bit. I did not had a single issue with GFWL from start to finish, it's an amazing game with a great soundtrack.
These were listings I had up for more than a day. I've relisted them all now, so hopefully it all updates soon. A couple seem to have done so already. Could be worth people checking out their own listings, to make sure all is well.

I walked into a booth at SDCC once because I was entranced by this picture of a black and white cat throwing up rainbow-colored kittens... then I looked around and realized I had walked into a Furry Porn booth.
The vendors laughed and cackled at my folly.
While Dust has a resemblance to Furry Art (such as the rounded faces and limbs), to say that it IS Furry Art is very lame.

Its concept is the strongest thing it has going for it, but if you're a bit older, grew up with [A]RPGs in the 90s (8bit FF, 16bit Zelda, PSX era FF, Diablo) and want a nice little stroll down memory lane, I'd say it's worth the price of admission.

Believe me if you think Dust looks anything like "creepy furry art" you, well, have not seen creepy furry art. To pass up on such a great game just because of the art style would be a shame, and I'm not just saying that as a furry myself (surprise surprise, though more of a Pokefur). It's a truly excellent (though perhaps somewhat shallow) game and an absolute steal at its current price, so at least try it before judging it.
Yeah, I just don't like how Dust looks at all, in close-up portraits and such. In gameplay it all looks fine to me.
And as an example on other anthropomorphic stuff, the character art in Sine Mora is pretty cool. And I always enjoyed Sokal's old Inspector Canardo comics, even though they were pretty graphic at times, in more ways than one.
