• Added "Early Access" image banners to Early Access games on Steam
• Added a list of friends that own a game on the "friends that own" page
• Added badge progress and remaining card drops to app pages
• Fixed bug where badge filter wasn't working with some languages
• Fixed bug in wishlist sorting that would cause it to fail if a game had no price displayed
• Fixed bug that caused wishlist not to highlight under certain circumstances

This update should be applied automatically within the next 60 minutes. As always, if you encounter any issues, please let me know!

Mercenaries almost gives it some joy, but it's really too bad Bio4-5's Mercenaries is (IMO) better.

The Mercenaries is just different from its predecessors. It's super solid/fun aside from a few questionable design choices (like the lack of i-frames upon wakeup). The new mobility options are a total gamechanger.

Frankly, I'd pay $10 for the Mercenaries mode in RE6 alone, but I'm sure the game will drop further in price.

How can I get a booster pack?

Once you have received all of your card drops, you become eligible for a booster pack, which is a set of 3 trading cards that may include both basic and foil cards. Booster packs are granted randomly to eligible users as more badges are crafted by members of the community. Make sure you log in to Steam each week to maintain eligibility.

Once eligible, your Steam Level increases your rate of receiving a booster pack drop:
Level 10: +20% increase in your drop rate
Level 20: +40% increase in your drop rate
Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate
Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate
Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate (i.e. the rate has doubled)
Etc.

How do I know if I can get card drops and booster packs?

From your Badges page, the “How do I earn card drops?” window shows you how many card drops you have earned, how to get more, and if you are currently eligible for a booster pack drop.

You can earn extra cards by purchasing them from the market or, as you say, waiting for a booster drop. The higher your level, the higher your chance of receiving one (eligibility is defined by having used up all of your drops for a given title), though Valve claims that the frequency of booster drops in general is determined by the community's overall badge crafting rate. Also, for F2P games in particular, you can earn more drops by spending approximately $10 in-game. There's an FAQ you can sift through for more details.
