Is anyone else having severe issues with Steam? I can't buy games, I can't add funds, and when it does the first time setup, it just hangs and does nothing. I've never had it this bad during a sale or holiday. This is insanity.

There is a demo you can try if you want, even if it does cost $1.50. Trust me Orcs Must Die is better. Get Marlow Briggs with that cash instead.

Yes its fucken amazing, a little buggy but awesome. The combat is fantastic if you are used to spectacle fighters like GOW, Castlevania: LoS or Dantes Inferno. The game is funny and it's over the top campy nature just adds to the awesome.
Check out the Steam reviews on it: 924 possitve, 59 negative. Don't listen to Metacritic! One review says "God of War, directed by Michael Bay." which is true lol.

The campaign is good dumb fun. Not one of the best COD campaigns, but for $16? Good value in my book.

For the price, you getting a ton of solid content with DD. There's plenty of GAF folks that have played and loved the original. Even the casual players of the game rack up hundreds of hours in solo and groups - and it still has an active player base.
I am biased though. Very biased.

It was my main issue with the game, even on the hardest difficulty battles last all of 10 seconds and you'll probably have a full inventory of unused items by the end.
Great game though.

KOTOR is has a daily deal attached to it now and is going for $3.99. I want to get it since the Xbox game simply doesn't function on a 360. A few questions, though:
1. For system requirements, it says that I need Windows XP or Windows Vista. I guess this means that it's not compatible with Windows 8.1?
If it isn't, is there an easy way to install Windows XP on my computer?
2. Should I get KOTOR2? I heard it was worse than the first game, but I'm not sure on the details.

You could run in compatibility mode.
Just buy it, it's great and you will get at least one hour of playtime out of every cent it costs at this price. These hating opinions don't really make a lick of sense as Dungeon Defenders and Orcs Must Die are damn near exactly the same game. They're pretty much exact equals, with OMD having the edge in better traps and map layouts, and DD1 getting a fun boost from its loot system. OMD can have you laughing to yourself as you watch orcs walk into your perfectly calibrated meat grinder, while DD can have you cheering as you destroy goblins with your sick new crossbow.
Pretty good, but such a Bundle Games Bundle. I think I have 10 copies of every single one of those games. I fucking hate the fact that I have multiple copies of Imagine Me.
I can confirm that KOTOR 2 runs fine in Windows 8.1. Not sure about KOTOR 1. Both are great games, and there is a community patch that fixes the problems with KOTOR 2.

Yeah well the people who told you that are crazy. KotOR II is one of the best written games you'll ever play and puts KotOR to shame. Which isn't to say that KotOR is bad, the sequel just goes for something much more ambitious with its writing and it's hard to go back after that. The best character in the game is also supported by an amazing voice actress. It's a must play.
I have played KOTOR on 8.1 for what it is worth. It made me actually wish for Xbox controls though, it just didn't feel right on KB+M.

For how cheap it is I say just grab it. I played it tons with my pals and have over 500 hours in it.

Still no KOF sale.
Kreia alone is worth the price of Kotor 2. One of the best written characters in gaming. Only real issue with Kotor 2 is that Lucasarts rushed the shit out of the game, even pushing the release date up ahead of schedule forcing Obsidian to cut some content making the final act suffer quite a bit. It pissed off everyone, though I do know there is a fan patch that has fixed all of that, been meaning to check it out myself.

I'm personally of the mindset that Orcs Must Die is a funner version of the concept (3rd person shooter tower defence) but maybe DD works better in Co-Op (different classes get different towers so synergy can occur) or after you've leveled up somewhat.
