This might be something that's premature to ask, but are there any stats on the percentage of early access games that make it all the way through their development with stable full releases?

Like Stump and chubigans already pointed out, setting your sale price is completely automated and something you just log into your publisher account and fill out during the month leading up to the sale in question. The guy simply forgot to do it. The communication issue is that probably 95+% of Valve is on holiday so no one's around to manually apply the discount he wants.

Every publisher on Steam, I believe, has the right to set a different daily/flash discount in case they get picked. Shovel Knight guys probably set one assuming they'd never get a spot, I dunno?

As for Yacht Club Games... I have no idea what to make out of it.

Yeah, Dragonfall is a standalone expansion and is a great improvement over Shadowrun Returns.

FO:NV is one of my favorite games of all time. Absolute classic IMO. Infinitely better than FO3 if your problem with FO3 was the meh storytelling

Can anybody vouch for the PC version of Shovel Knight, especially compared to the 3DS and Wii U versions? It's definitely the cheapest (by $5), because god knows nothing ever goes on sale on Nintendo platforms, but the PC version doesn't have any special features at all besides Steam achievements. No Miiverse, no 3D (which I hear is well done), no Kratos, etc. Not sure if I should get it on PC or pony up for the console versions with more stuff.

I really hope the Baldurs Gate EEs go on daily. I've been wanting them even though I own like for copies of the game stiffly for the ability to zoom using the mouse wheel.

I also feel like the odd man out since I liked FO3 but never could get into New Vegas for some reason.

Being playing Resident Evil Revelations and, damn, I think they kind of nailed some of that old survival horror feel. I completely forgot to use the silly scanner to look for items so I found myself with no ammo for a bit, using only the knife. Until I started scanning and recovering a bunch of crap... only for me to get confident and ending up with few ammo moments later. Game runs awesomely awesome too, sometimes Capcom gets way too much flak (with reason, where is Dragon's Dogma PC, guys...) but at least in the case of this game it's just a very well done port.
