Is Thief worth the 7.5€? I really liked Deadly Shadows.

I played it via family sharing so I paid $0 and it just cost me my time. I enjoyed the basic gameplay: the sneaking, thieving, stealth combat. I didn't like the story or the way some of the world stuff was setup.

I don't think that liking Deadly Shadows is a great indicator of whether or not you'd like it as it's fairly different. I played all the way to the end and came away feeling pretty mixed, but if it seems like something interesting to you I'd definitely give it a shot when it hits a price that you consider it cheap enough that bailing after a few hours wouldn't seem like a waste. It definitely was a bit longer than I'd have liked it to be.

Yup there's Transistor for all of you. I feel so bad, pre-ordered it but only played it 80 minutes or so. Listened to the soundtrack more (which is easily worth it by the way.)

Two very different games. Transistor has a bit of a learning curve and definitely doesn't hold your hand. It certainly demands a bit of time to get used to it. Might be worth a squirt at this price.

It's worth a shot especially if you like the themes in Transistor. Otherwise, you probably won't enjoy it. It definitely has a Bastion-like feel.
