I only ended up buying one game this sale. Usually I end up spending way too much, but this time the prices weren't low enough for me to give in on a lot of games I've been waiting to play. Oh well, it's not like I don't already have a giant mountain of games to play already.

Was hoping Amazon would price match Borderlands 2 GOTY, but it doesn't look like they will *sigh*.

Been visiting family and unable to play anything, the only game I've spent any time with is Defense Grid 2 which I bought at the beginning of the sale.

I can't imagine there is anyone who despises ads more than I do, but you literally open the program and your DS4 is good to go and you can minimize it. The ads are there but they are in no way intrusive.

I kind of want to buy DS2, but turned off by the possibility of there being an "updated" PC version coming out. Did they ever clarify if the PC version was getting the updates that the next gen consoles was getting or are they releasing a whole new version for the PC as well? Because I really don't want to give them money if they're pulling something like that.

The current version will be getting some minor gameplay updates but there will be a completely different version that will have both graphical upgrades as well as gameplay changes that the original version wont get.

Unless you're really desperate to play it now, I'd wait. At the very least there will probably be discounts running up to the updated version's release.

Grabbed Borderlands 2: GOTY off GMG for $8 with their discount code. Better deal than going straight through Steam.

Only thing I think I kinda wanted but didn't get this sale was AoE II HD + Expansion, mostly cause Amazon didn't price match the bundle of them together. I can wait on that though, wouldn't get around to it anyway. Would be mostly for nostalgia purposes.

Alright, bought my final haul! Also, my Steam Library got way increased as older TellTale games' episodes are listed separately, meaning the three seasons of Sam & Max actually count as whoppin' 16 games.

Speaking of Sam & Max, why hasn't the original been released on Steam? It's on GoG now, right?
