Hmm. Seems some of the games I actually would want are cheaper on Nuuvem, anyway. Guess I could purchase something there instead.
Ultra SFIV would be nice with more than 15% off.
Ooh, nice! Thanks for sharing.I stumbled onto this site which lists upcomming sale prices for nuuvem
Thinking of checking out total war rome 2 at that price
I have this and have yet to boot it up... What do you think makes it stand apart from other shooters currently?
Yes, its a very similar alley in design.
It's not a gimmick, it's permanent. The gimmick is rather underwhelming this time.
I'd say you did. I played the demo quite a lot and had it in my cart but lost access to the store before I could buy..Bought Euro Truck Simulator at the last minute because it sounds like fun.
Did I do good?
Anyone have any recommendations for a 4 year old kid? For some ideas, he likes playing Little Inferno, there's no lose condition there and he just sits and burns stuff but he's getting bored of it.

It's Brazilian and yes, as long as the game has steamworks.
Deus Ex GOTY is pretty cheap now at 1.74€. I know a lot of people love it, but is it really as playable today? I remember trying it out some years ago, and I remember how sluggish I found it. The character seemed to move so slowly. Maybe you can upgrade your speed or something later in the game? I really want to like it.
Borderlands 2: GOTY is a daily? Why isn't it showing on the main page?
Are you just looking for games he can play by himself?Anyone have any recommendations for a 4 year old kid? For some ideas, he likes playing Little Inferno, there's no lose condition there and he just sits and burns stuff but he's getting bored of it.
Basically its a perfect middle ground between the realism of ARMA and the accessibility of CoD. Before I knew it my playtime had crossed 50 hours without me even realizing it.
If military shooters are a spectrum with regards to realism vs. arcadiness
ARMA > Insurgency = Red Orchestra = Verdun = Classic Rainbow 6 > CounterStrike > Battlefield > Call of Duty
Plus the co-op is awesome, really harkens back to Swat4 and old Rainbow 6 games, so theres actually 2 games in one, the PvE co-op and the PvP multiplayer, all following the no crosshair no HuD hardcore realistic weapons and damage gameplay. There is a LOT of "game" in this game.
Watch the trailer on its store page, see if it grabs you. I really love the nighttime gameplay.
Here are some of my thoughts from when we were discussing it in the steam thread.

I bought it, and now I see why I found it sluggish. I don't know if it's just my computer, but the game has micro slowdowns every second or so. It keeps 60 fps, but it's like every third step is taken in jelly. This is also noticeable when jumping, it's like having a parachute most of the time. This is incredibly frustrating.
But I looked into the game's .ini-file and set vsync ON. Strangely enough, this seems to actually have turned vsync OFF. The game now runs much faster and at an even speed, with very high fps. It should be much more fun to play now.
Prison Architect £3.99, worth?
I think I will bite since its been on my wishlist forever
I still haven't bought anything, it feels weird.
Oh and everyone vote for Bulletstorm, a truly fun FPS, one of the best of last gen imo.
Hope you entered my giveawayWhich link? Also I'm passed I missed the Monaco flash. Was going to pick it up for my brother to play some coop together. Argh!
Get the DX10 renderer. It fixes issues like that and it adds widescreen resolutions I think.I bought it, and now I see why I found it sluggish. *edit*
This appears to instead have made the game too fast. Dialogue lines are cut prematurely and running speed is probably a lot faster than it should be. Oh well, beats the sluggishness anyway...
playing lost planet
shit still looks so good

Where's the vote?
Where's the vote?
The Community Choice vote is right below the Dailies and Flash Deals.
Anyone else having trouble connecting to the steam network atm?
Definitely sounds a lot more interesting than I had originally thought. Thanks for the impressions, I'll definitely be giving it a go later today.
Indeed. I spenta lot of hours in that game. Pretty addictive for the first few plays.
Oooooh. The Golf Club on sale. What is the status of that game? Very playable and enjoyable?
Have they been updating pretty regularly? I was extremely interested in that game around the time they opened up early access.
Already did. Really wish they'd patch Steamworks in for GFWL. The game deserves it... come on Epic, don't make me shoot you in the dick.
Region locked so I can't even vote for it lol. I think it won't win if it's region locked in many other places
It's region locked too? It's a shame Epic/EA are letting this game die a slow death, it was really good.

Mystery Game --MB-F9444695D9B9CD3A- Taken by GaussTek. 13 entrants total.
A game that was up for auction, maybe it's The Evil Within or maybe it's Shannon Tweed's Attack of the Groupies
Btw, what does the Russian in the thread title mean?
