Either put it on your wishlist and buy it on the last day if it's not a daily, or buy it if it's like three dollars or less and you really want to play it.

Just note that the BL2 GOTY does not contain all dlc.

It contains those that matter.

This can not be stressed enough; the unincluded dlc is just character skins and shitty little mission packs.

The main game is overflowing with content, more than you'll likely ever play, and the dlc adds heaps more. The Borderlands games have more content than your average three AAA shooters put together.

No, they are about as shallow as modern games get.

Boooooooooo

The truth hurts.

Should I hold on Ethan Carter? It's a very short game and I bought Gone Home for $10 and beat it in 90 minutes. I wish I paid half of that. If EC is on average 3 hours long I'll bite.

tempted to buy Prison Architect

Literally over half of the video on Steam is the developers bragging about how many bugs are in the game, showing long lists, explaining how frequently they occur, how you can go on their forum and complain about all the bugs. they showcase numerous examples, explaining that the game will be in alpha for a long, long time, etc. it's an interesting way to try to sell your game.

I think its just one of the more genuine examples of an early access game and what the original idea of early access meant.

The game is a blast either way.

It was excellent around a year ago, so don't be afraid to jump in. They release an update every month and it is always interesting to see what they come up with.

At this stage they are really just building "extra cool stuff", so as long as you actually want to build some prisons, you will get more than your monies worth out of it.

I was mainly referring to Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Pack 2, which ups the level cap 11 more levels, adds more legendary gear and adds another high level map.

Off topic. But now that I just bought a gtx 970, did I make a mistake buying GTA5 on the ps4 (already had bought on PS3 at launch as well)?

There's easily 3 hours of content in Ethan Carter. I think it took me 5 hours (but I spent time looking at texture porn and taking pictures because it's gorgeous). The game will happily let you walk past half of the puzzles though, so don't just stick to the road or move on if something doesn't feel complete.

Even not counting the extra graphical upgrades you might get on PC, the mod scene will make GTA5 a must have on PC.

So yeah, maybe you made a mistake.

I noticed there is a Dreamfall + The Longest journey combo http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_5_9__12&term=The+Longest+Journey

I presume they are essential prequels prior to playing Dreamfall: Chapters?

It isn't necessary, but it's definitely the way to play. All of those games are incredibly, wonderfully story-based.

The devs promise Dreamfall Chapters will finish by the end of 2015, if that makes a difference. (Only one of the five episodes is currently available, AFAIK.)

To those holding on Prison Architect, just buy it. The game is amazing and the devs support the game better than most.

I am new to Dreamfall and want to get the chapter on sale, but even after looking at some videos I am unsure. What is a game it is sort of like gameplay wise?

I just started playing Prison Architect and love it. If they left it exactly the way it is I would still be completely satisfied with it.

The Longest Journey and the Dreamfall games are hybrids between traditional adventure games and the new TellTale style (like the Walking Dead). There is gameplay and puzzles, but the story is largely why you're playing. It is a very story-centric series, and Dreamfall Chapters is no different; in fact, DC has significant Walking Dead-style choice & consequence for your decisions in the game. If you intend to play Chapters, you really ought to play the first two games beforehand.

If you want to see the gameplay for yourself, check out Giant Bomb's Quick Look of Dreamfall Chapters Ep 1. Be warned: they play through a fair chunk of Ep 1, and, contrary to what they say, things are different depending on how you play. (For instance, the entire segment they play through could be entirely different.)

One more thing, Dreamfall Chapters is episodic and only one of the five episodes is currently released. The devs have promised to have it done by the end of 2015.

I couldn't resist Shadow of Mordor for $17 from Nuuvem, can't see it going lower than that in the near future...

It's worth so much more than that. Currently playing it and having so much fun not doing the story lol. Avenging people on your steam friends list that have died to captains, just sneaking around killing orcs. It's SO good.

I am officially out of money after buying State of Decay, Euro Truck 2, Prison Architect and RUSE.

I do hope I don't get my grubby hands on more money.

Balls, accidentally just bought XIII-2 without applying a voucher to it. Ah well.

These exist? How much was the voucher?

How do you get them? D:

Also, I went to Best Buy today and noticed their $50 steam cards are $47.50. It's not much, but you could easily get a great game for that $2.50 saved :)

50% off XIII-2 voucher from the SE Surprise Box (EU I think).

Pretty sure that's on the square store, not Steam.

speaking of, FFXIII is $6.50 on the NA Square store. You can't select an EU country when you sign up, but I wonder if it'll still work. Anyone know?

Everybody vote for Panzer Corps! Would be the first time it would be any sort of Flash or Community Deal! 80% is a steal. It's a damn good Panzer General Remake.
I hope with the 80% discount, the DLC will get cheaper as well.
