Regarding the Groupees coins; who's buying them? I don't see a way to buy them myself. Are Groupees themselves buying them? Is this a bubble that'll burst, or should I wait it out some more?

I have something like $5 in coins. Or is it ~$8? I've no idea how to use them.

In the payment options the rightmost option is the groupees coin. You can use them there and if there's leftover money you can use another payment option. But if the coin(s) are worth more than the bundle you don't get your change back.
Ah, but it doesn't work for bundle pre-orders anymore.

For you.

You use them as a payment method for non-preorder bundles. The last option on the payment options thingy.

They come with bundles only.

When you checkout, you can use a coin to pay for games. Preorders don't qualify.

There are only a couple daily deals and they have a timer next to them I think. Like Witcher 3 today. And it's not actually daily, but three days in that case.

Huh, I see a couple other games like that, but unless you cursor over them to check the timer, you wouldn't even know it was a limited time deal. Why even have timed deals if you aren't going to feature the deals in question?

Ah. I'll have to remember that next time.

They come with bundles only.

So let's say I buy a $1 bundle. Would the other $9 go into my account or something? Or is it lost?

So, Groupees themselves are the ones who are buying these coins, since you can only use them on bundles?

That answers that, I guess. Gonna buy me some quality MangaGamer games.

Eh, how can I make non-installed games in my client have a "faded" icon? I could swear it was like that at one point but now there's no visual feedback to see which game is installed and which not.

You don't get your change back if you use groupees coins. I used my own coin when it was worth like $7 to buy a $5 bundle and didn't get any back.
However, if the coin is worth less than the price of the bundle you can pay the difference with another payment method.

Thanks! So I'm guessing this MangaGamer bundle will be the best thing to use my coin on. I don't remember many bundle being more than ~$5 on Groupees. Last one was that other VN bundle, from what I recall.

If you don't care for porn games you can just wait until they have another publisher collection bundle. I do remember one by 1C Company that was pretty expensive.
But yeah, they don't often do pricey bundles.

First some Uplay games get Steam Achievements and then a few get retroactive Trading Cards. Just pack it in Ubi and go full on Steam, you know you want to.

I would legit replay some AC games if they had some steam achievements. That's the kind of man I am.

So dragon's dogma doesn't work if you use windows 10 insider preview.
Pretty sad about that but it reminded me to leaving the insider program.

(I still have no idea how to make this work, guess I'll just have to wait for a fix)

Finally got my controller working on DD and played through the tutorial. At the end the game went into an endless load and never saved my progress.

I've heard this game was difficult but I didn't think this is what they meant.

Oh damn. I'm about to be reformatting tonight I guess.

Wonder what the reason for that would be.

So many on my friendslist playing Dragon's Dogma... Meanwhile I'm just sitting here masturbating.

... I'm not actually masturbating I'm just being bored and depressed and all that good stuff.

I have a problem with Steam that started a few months ago when I got a new PC, every few minutes my downloads pause and schedule themselves for 5 min later.
As far as I can tell, it's caused by improper port settings on the router, tried setting up the ports but it didn't work.
Googling for other solutions, the only one I've found is changing regions in the downloads section, but that also didn't work.

Anyone have other suggestions?
