Man i messed up. I bought TR and XCom at GMG with the 25% off, completely forgetting birthday coupon is 27% which i got in my email today. Bummers. And there is no other steam game on there i want. Id buy Witness, FF IX or Homeworld but none are on GMG. Might get Deus Ex, but thats in August. Long time away.
Probably Crypt of the Necrodancer, but I don't know if that's a Rogue-like-like-like, or just a Rogue-like-like.

Nuclear Throne? That got lots of praise.
The preffered title to games like isaac is for me Rogue-lite, games more like rogue is rogue-likes (I think necrodancer is more of a rogue-like than a rogue-lite)
Rogue-lite if the only things in common are random generation in a dungeon or something similar with permadeaths and replayablility.

Well it's definitely more like Rogue than Spelunky, but a lot less like Rogue than say Pixel Dungeon. I think maybe we need a chart or a diagram of some sort to keep this straight.

The game itself is great but I didn't put it in my top 10 because of severe crashing issues, also daily/weekly runs are borked. Shouldn't have gone out of EA in that state.

Pillars of Eternity Expansion Pass is no longer discounted on Humble Store. Guess it was a price mistake afterall.
Or call them Isaaclike or Spelunkylike. Because those are the games actually getting copied at this point. Better games than Rogue anyway.
And yes, the binding of Isaac expansion was the best last year, though I am curious to give Nuclear Throne a try at some point.

The only time I've been banned is when I posted in a thread welcoming juniors, and one of them didn't like the avatar I had been using for months that no one else had a problem with. I guess a mod took notice and decided I needed to take a break for it.
What was the avatar?

Well, compared to MS? It's damn easy to have a sony bias this gen, they keep putting out game after game and the console itself runs better.
As a general rule of thumb, I'm confused why console biases are bannable if you aren't baiting people. In a thread on graphics, your "bias" for the wii u is laughed at for good reason, but your "bias" for the xbone is considered...innacurate? But...you can't counter the person who says the Xbone has better graphics without risking someone calling you a sony fanboy, regardless of how objective the statement is.
I say this because even among casual people I know who own xbones and not ps4s for their friends...they even say the ps4 is better. It's like a casually accepted statement this generation or such.
Then again, a lot of people still never knew MS undid their always online policy >__>
So to sum up my thoughts, if certain things are objectively better, I'm unsure why it's a bias.
edit: And before someone calls me a fanboy, I own all 3 systems+a PC, nor am I ever doing console wars stuff in threads.

That feeling in Dragon's Dogma when I realize that I was carrying like 40lbs of curative items, and dump a lot of them in my item storage. Going from heavy to light:

Tengami is a really beautiful short puzzle game. Not overly challenging, but a nice way to spend 1-2 hours.
Full price might be a bit much for the playtime though.. The pop-up-book graphics were nicely made and incorporated into the gameplay. If you already own it, I'd definitely recommend spending some time with it

I normally just pick up all items of food and stuff in sight, forget to flask them up, dump them on my pawn and then about a week or so later remember a bit on the late side and then end up with a load of rotten food. Well guess you end up with a load of crafting materials then.
I really liked this on iPad but not quite sure how well it would have translated to mouse. Saying that The Room was the same and that worked brilliantly on PC.
