I can be wrong, but I'm sure, that Yakuza would do on PC better than on consoles, if priced accordingly. For one Yakuza games are long ones with lots of content, games one can leave and come years later to play some, and consoles aren't really made for such playstyle.
then again I can be wrong too
but I wish Sega would try at least, you know, release one game and see how it does. Not like they need to translate them, translations are already available and porting shouldn't be THAT expensive, or is it?

Unfortunatelly these publishers don't want to try, I becoming SEGA's president still looks like the only way to get these games on PC.

Anyone else having trouble getting the key for The Book of Legends from the latest Indie Royale? all the other games worked fine, but it gives an error while trying to retrieve the key for The Book of Legends :(

I like Watch_Dogs but it didn't innovate really at all. Hacking was a focus during the marketing push that boils down to a button press and one tedious mini game (and supposedly Kaspersky helped them with that hahahahahaha).

I wish Ubi would try having player solve a Picross/Link-A-Pix puzzle each time he tries to hack something.
Anything but Pipemania/Press A to Jason/that atrocity Alpha Protocol used.

No problems on my side.

I would buy it so hard, if that was the case!

I hope you are still working on that, we need you!

Before Watch_Dogs was released in my anticipation I decided to try out Uplink and that has been by far and away the most fun and grounded representation of hacking in a game. Sure it's still a bit pie-in-the-sky but it's waaaay more in context that Aiden's 'Magic Phone'.

In the big budget space for me Deus Ex Human Revolution does a great job of simplifying but not trivialising it's hacking gameplay elements. It's better than the examples you stated or a Simon style contextual button press event a lot of games go for.

What the? I wonder why I never heard of this *goes off to Google*. Ok even with thin details this sounds awesome. I mean a Valve game set in space? That's the stuff dreams are made of!

SEGA Japan and USA's relationship is a very interesting topic, while I can't find the exact online article, there's one with Tom Kalinske about his time working as CEO of SEGA USA and how the Japanese division weren't happy that the SEGA was kicking ass in the US but not Japan.
I suspect such a notion is still apparent with Japanese devs even now.

It's still a bit of a mystery exactly what their involvement was other than looking over the script (though some sites went a little too overboard) but here's the press release from Kaspersky's side.

http://www.kaspersky.com/about/news...spersky-Lab-to-Authenticate-Watch-Dogs-Script

Make of that what you will.
from that link I gather, they advised on gadgets only.

to Jasec: way to break our hearts!
looks great, yea

I'm hoping -- nay, praying -- that Valve's Stars of Blood wasn't outright canned but rather put on ice to be reborn as a Source 2 title once the engine is more mature. The mind salivates at the thought of a Valve-developed an open-world space game with a practically unlimited budget.

I was really excited for it, more than a possible HL3 release. Maybe it will be a release game along L4D3 to showcase Source 2 engine.

I just prefer to have all my games in the one place where possible. At this point I can't think of a single reason why Wizards is being tardy about bringing the games to Steam -- in addition to GOG they're also on GamersGate, Amazon and presumably other DD stores, too.

Because people will see those games had more customization 20 years ago than their Magic games do now?

Funnily enough, Broken Sword 4 of all games had some good hacking implementation.
And nothing much more, for that matter.

Nah, I assume a potentially ambitious game like these would come at a later date when they get completely familiar with the new engine and its capabilities. Especially streaming. They've been using BSP for so long.

This thread moves so fast! Anyway...

Don't see the Steam key when I log into my account, but I'll wait =) ...and thanks for this now I can make more giveaways of games I already own on Desura lol.
I got people who get it and others who don't. Trying to figure out what's wrong.

I don't own your game, but it looks awesome, hope things are working out well for you!
Thank you! I am doing fine thanks :) Passed some rough times after Under Siege launched.

Awesome news Filipe.
And for the guys that pre-purchased the game through your site?
You should all get that today. All 3 of you :p

Good on you guys for being so proactive.
People already bought the game once. Charging for it twice would be greedy. And getting my baby on Steam and people playing and having fun with it is more rewarding anyway.

Thank you! Worked for me even though I didn't technically buy it through Desura, just redeemed the Indie Royale code for the whole bundled. FYI for anyone that's unsure.
Oh! This is good news! Will PM you if you don't mind to ask for details how you did it since some fans are confused on where to get it (check first quote :D).

I remember reading something similar and still boggles my mind the "war" between the Japanese and American side, it certainly helped to them almost getting out of business.

"played". 1 minute and I already feel dirty again. This is Tsuyuri, the superior of the two kitsune and guardian of the shrine. Also pretty bad when it comes to clothing and with two sick looking pimpels on her breasts. Should maybe see a doctor.

I don't want to say that Takahiro is a Gary Stu, but... he kinda is.

Hey, it's the plot. To return home and win the damn judo tournament Takahiro has to fu-, defeat the four wild spirits. I wonder what these spirits are, all kitsune too?

Ooooobviously not. Eww.

Luckily Takahiro and his fox harem is on the case as the Slime girl tries cover katana girl in her bodily fluids and repell her. The village more or less thanks it's saviours and make peace.

Seriously, what is it with Japan and forgetting your best childhoodfriends?

Of course not. Think at all the Takahiro did for you, all the stuff you two did. Like... he touching your panties... you throwing Takahiro in jail... he standing around while the fox sisters doing the work... him being fixated on your boobs (ok, you're making it pretty easy for one to fixate your breasts).

But well, everyone is preparting to hunt down the wild spirits, including Takahiro training with the guard girls to be fit for the battle. In a heated duel with Katanagirl he manages in an epic fight to

P.S. In making that list I noticed that GOG took down Fallout 1 & 2 and yet the Steam versions aren't SteamPlay. Mac gamers got fucked on that one.

Makes sense. I kniw you follow Valve news closely so how are the chances of a Source 2 official reveal this year?

I'm genuinely surprised that Sakura Spirit is even on Steam, never mind selling well enough to get into the top 10 sellers list. If it means that Christine Love gets to put Ladykiller in a Bind up on Steam, though, I won't complain too loudly.

I don't expect Bethesda to re-release the games on GOG, but the Mac versions will likely hit Steam in the future.

Yeah, we understand why. Well take a couple hours break, you know, recharge, and then you can have another session. But you can only play 3 sessions a day. 4, tops.

Oh my, I had forgotten all about Stars of Blood, and how pretty that concept art was. Mind blown... all over again.

Was this a victim of redirecting resources to that pesky MOBA remake, or was this doomed long before then?

Space pirates. :swoon: indeed. RIP.

Hard to say why Valve went on to focus its efforts elsewhere. Gabe confirmed that the game was in development but didn't say when it was cast aside. Here's hoping it resurfaces in the future.

I have been playing sleeping dogs for this past few days. I'm feeling bad for getting this game dirt cheap. This game is Fucking amazing.

That's a good question and I can only guess. I think there's definitely a chance Source 2/L4D3 will be revealed this year, Valve have been referencing Source 2 at Steam Dev Days a couple of times. It should be in an advanced state now. But the thing with Valve is they don't seem to like overlapping/parallel communication with major things. Like this month it's all about TI, next month CSGO will have a major tournament and they probably want to talk about Steam Universe stuff again. So I think Fall could be the earliest, I'm just not sure how much sense that would make as Fall is very busy with game releases. Do we usually get lot of reveals during that period?

Was this a victim of redirecting resources to that pesky MOBA remake, or was this doomed long before then?

We'd like to think it was due to technical reasons aka Source just not being suitable for this kind of stuff.
