not going to lie, Super Meat Boy coming to the vita is actually exciting to me. I had the game back when i owned a 360 and got it in a bundle on PC but the idea of having it at the ready at any given moment sounds damn good to me.

The FFX and Kingdom Hearts remasters were done using proprietary Sony tech, so will likely stay exclusive to Sony platforms for the foreseeable future.

I'm sure it made the ports cheaper, but Square gave up Xbox and PC sales on the front end and, with Kingdom Hearts 3 going multiplatform, losing note sales on the back end.

I've been visiting my brother the last two weeks and feel so far behind all the news, bundles, etc. Digital gaming really is my crack.

At least I'm back home before the summer sale has started.

jimquisition on refunds is pretty good and makes the very simple point i've been saying all week

if you're going to buy proteus, "beat it", and then refund it you might as well just pirate it, and in both scenarios they're not lost sales because those ppl wouldn't have bought proteus legit in the first place

Just watched it and yes, Jim's take on the matter is spot on as usual.

People should just wait a bit before jumping to conclusions.

Click on the "Support" link when looking at a game in your library is the fastest way. You can also use the support site and try searching for the game you want on the appropriate page, but that was broken for me when I tried.

go to steam support: https://help.steampowered.com/

pick a game

in the game's support page go to refund

any reason is fine (i went with "didn't like eet")

u should get email confirmation in the day and then sometime later u should get accepted/rejected email and at least for me it took 4-5 days to get the steam wallet money back

what's the eta on confirmations of refunds? I submitted one on June 2, haven't received a confirmation email yet. The page just says in process.

confession time: even though i love the game and have played it throughout life, i've never beat MM2. I've even finished MM1, yet for whatever reason MM2 has eluded me.

I guess if digital eclipse doesn't fuck this up i'll totally buy it.

Ten years ago I bought the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the original Xbox. It had 1-8 plus two Mega Man fighting games (I think they were called The Power Battles?) Now ten years later the collection only contains six games. But oh man, you get "HD Flair" whatever the hell that means, cause the gameplay clips they showed didn't really show any of that off. Buuuut it's on Steam now, so I guess I can't complain TOO much.

It wasn't that bad. I think it could have been improved immensely if they just gave you all 8 robot masters at once instead of two blocks of four.

Mega Man 8 had serious issues, though, with its legendary voice acting and scrolling segments with view distances so short they had to add a verbal "Jump! Jump!" or "Slide! Slide!" to let you know what to do next.

That would be great news! Another console-port-visual-fest like Ryse.
But the cynic in me thinks Sony never lets go of exclusivity :(
