Nothing works.
I couldn't join, then I was level 4 with 2000 gold but with 0 hp, then I was level 10 with 0 gold and "dead", then I was level 5 with 500 gold.

You click things.

You can buy upgrades with coins you get from killing things by clicking them. Then you can do more damage with your clicks.

Or you could just cheat.
