STEAM | June 2015 - Wait for the Steam Sale Thread You Bastards!

I don't think anyone saw this. I guess everyone was sleeping, so I am reposting it:

Are Magicite, Halo: Spartan, or the Van Helsing games worth anything?

Btw, I already own Van Helsing and one of its DLC, so I'd be buying the additional DLC, and Van Helsing II and its DLC. III is kind of pricey so I'll skip that.

No idea, it's ok and yes for VH 1 and 2 and maybe wait for VH3, it's buggy and incomplete. Released way to soon.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
What's the maximum level for the monster game? my game already hit level 150 and I got a friend sitting at level 300+ o.0

At least 300,000

Anyone want to split a two-pack of KOF 98 and 2002 with me? We'll each buy a two-pack and give each other our extra key.

Edit: Done.

WWAUT - Melee Improvements

With E3 only days away, many players are working out the best way to stream the content they want to consume. We strongly recommend that you tune in at http://www.twitch.tv/pcgamer for the inaugural PC Gaming Show on Tues June 16th at 6PM PST. It's literally a LIVE E3 version of WWAUT! Now with that out of the way, let us talk about bringing a knife to a gunfight.

Over the past few weeks, the melee system has been getting some extra enhancement. As noted previously we’ve been watching what players are doing as well as listening to their requests. Now change is underway and we would like to walk you through the highlights of what we are doing to improve the systems.

In the current live build, when a user hits the “bash” key, it uses an existing attack. No more! Now this key will have its own unique function. A few examples:

  • Perk Knife - a new fast stabbing attack
  • Katana - execute a powerful stab
  • Pulverizer - push back that group of foes that is in your face

We have also been making enhancements to the parry system. We saw that some players were confused about when they had successfully parried (vs stumbled) so now each zed has a different animation for each state. We’ve also flagged some zed attacks to be non parryable (but to help, these attacks now have a tell so keep an eye out!).

Blocking is also being refined. The next iteration of blocking will allow players to move at normal speed while blocking (where right now they are slowed down during the blocking state). Players will also now see hit reactions to give feedback to them that they are blocking (and taking mitigated damage).

Those systems are currently live in our latest dev build and under heavy testing and feedback from the staff (and we may continue to make changes and tweaks before they make it into public hands). Also as part of this undertaking we are working to improve the parry system so it works more consistently online (this is still prototype work and may not make a near future update).

And while it is not quite ready to show yet, we have just approved the new perk skill tree for the Zerker skill tree (having redesigned it from the ground up). As the new tree comes online in the dev build and we have vetted it we will be providing more details.

One final thing for those players who have been upset that they couldn’t wear both their hat (to protect their heads of course!) and their shades (pure cool), we have made an enhancement to the player character system that will allow this!

I can live without the metagame. Once it started bugging out during my hourly WMD unleashing, what little fun I had went kapoof.

I'm waiting for Shantae to become a daily. Risky Revenge is $2.50, but if there's a possibility that it and it's sequel will go lower...

Ugh, so far got to say I'm actually not enjoying Bloodborne, seems quite grindy to begin with at least, and I've never felt the Souls games to be grindy >_>

After purchase, this item:
will not be tradable for one week
cannot be listed on the Steam Community Market for one week

When did this happen? I have never experienced this problem before and this is the first time I'm seeing this. I'm just frustrated that I can not sell my items after I craft a badge like I use to...

Personally I'm liking it more than what I've played of the Souls games. I'm actually enjoying it because it's grindy. As a result, I feel like I'm actually making progress because I'm seeing meaningful changes in my stats rather than just dying over and over again and getting frustrated.

Grindy? How is it grindy?

I find myself grinding enemies for health potions alot cos the health system is so different in this game.

Oh man. The buyers remorse setting in quickly.

Considering I barely play my PS4 as it is, yeah.

I'm only at the second boss so far, but her's kicking my ass, but looking online for tips, it seems I am underlevelled, and the advice given was grind enemies and level up. I never found this to be a problem in Souls, so it's frustrating.

Got to level 320 in the game. What an awesome and dedicated team I had. I did contribute by firing a few nukes through the day.

This event sucks

I expected gem prices to crash when people figured out that they'll probably never be useful again. I was wrong, as usual. Prices did dip a little bit but that's all.

First day and I'm at almost 20€ spent... sigh.... :|

In the middle of the Steam sale I ended up spending money on overpriced amiibos so you're still doing better than me.

Is the game more linear in nature? Because in souls games you can always go back and try tackling another area if you find the current one to be too much of a challenge.

Come on Ubisoft, put your classic titles on daily!

I'll definitely pick up the original Vegas if it hits a daily or flash sale. I played that casino level from the demo a million times with a friend on the original Xbox. We had codewords for every section of the level and everything.

So it's my birthday tomorrow and I wanted to do something for one of my favorite GAF communities. So good luck to people entering.
Congrats to your pre-birthday! That is pretty sweet of you.
I'm disqualified by one day but good luck to you all!
Woah. Truly great times now that usually console games are coming to PC more and more.
Never played Monster Hunter, so I am interested. So soon even!

For now nothing for me though.
