I'm going to wait till there are some impressions from the final controller build and to see how non-controller games handle on it before i put my steam card money on the line. It would be nice to play Civ V on my TV finally, been wanting to check it out for some time now.

Well, I guess that makes sense, but then if your PC is miles from the TV than I'm guessing people don't want you using the TV to play games? I don't know. Nice for those that need it, I guess.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Just noticed that Gamestop lists the manufacture/vendor of the Steam controller and Link box as Alienware.

Wonder if it is just a typo or if Valve partnered with them to manufacture these things.

I've forgotten the details like I said, since it happened years ago back when HB wasn't even a thing I think? No money was spent, since iirc you just go their site and get lucky. I think it was their anniversary?

The problem is the base prices, base price for Fallout 1, 2, 3 and NV are the same. Either 3 and NV are shit or the first games are incapable of depreciation.

Oh, I thought that you'd paid money for the games and they'd been revoked after that. If that's not the case then I think that it'd be pretty understandable if the devs didn't answer, they probably didn't know if you were someone exploiting their stuff or not.
Maybe sending them another email after the whole situation had been defused would have been a good idea.

I only vaguely remember them giving keys away myself, so I'm just doing forensics: but between the two posts on their blog about the incident (http://www.puppygames.net/blog/?p=1082 and http://www.puppygames.net/blog/?p=1103), I will say that I think your anger or distaste is probably misplaced.

Yeah, on their website they said they got over 3,000 support emails around that time, so they pretty rightfully ignored them all.

I'll probably get a Steam Link to replace my old Mac Mini that I'm using as a Big Picture stream box, but I'm definitely going to wait for some impressions on it first.

Ordering a Steam controller is truing into a painful experience. The worst thing about this is that I'm sat at a bus stop, using the local pub's wifi as my interwebs is still fucked, with my Surface Pro, ordering a lump of plastic to control my stupid man children games despite owning countless other worthy substitutes. What have I done with my life :(

In any case it's pretty old issue so it doesn't really affect me now anymore but I still steer away from their stuff.
