If FFXV and KH3 go PC then Bloodborne will be the only reason for me to hold onto my barely touched PS4. *sigh*

I guess it's officially time to join PC gaming master race.

... XIII is never going to end is it.

LOL. No wonder they haven't finished half the new games they're working on, most especially XV. 2 XIII sequels, two full versions of FFXIV, the remasters of both FFX/X-2 and the KH games, that game streaming service, Type-0 HD remaster, XV and KH3, and now Steam/PC ports of the 3 XIII games....

They are never going to finish XV...

FFXIII was pretty gorgeous though, it'll probably look great on PC.

There it is, LOL

Great chance for PC only players to experience this masterpiece and to meet one of the best characters in the last decade.

At this point I'd take almost any other FF before the 13 series but I am happy at the idea of good support. I'd LOVE for them to put Chrono Trigger up with achievements and cards.

Even though it's harmless, isn't that a banned meme? I avoid it personally since nothing good ever comes of it but maybe the rule has changed.

Not a fan of FF13 or 13-2, but I'm one of those crazy people that wants to stimulate positive changes. I would probably buy this and not play it. Here's to hoping that the Japanese side of Square-Enix finds a good home on Steam. It would probably be a good idea to take a peek at those Kingdom Hearts remasters while they're at it, if they want to feel the water and check if there's an audience for it on PC.

Oh I get it. You were upset someone was saying otherwise, but it was perfectly fine for people to make snarky post when you agreed with them.

Thats cool man.

whoosh

I think FFXIII is a good game, and people find it absurd I like it more that FFX.

It's just that people are waaaaay too sensitive about either hating or liking the game. It's the most stupid cat and mouse game ever. I don't see myself agreeing with anyone in this thread since I know how dumb it is.

It's the same reason why you don't see other people doing it either. People have moved on from 4 years ago. Just live with the fact that some people might not actually like the game.

I'm sorry. I don't keep track of your personal views on such a thing.

But a big whoosh to you as well. I don't actually care. Hence the snark.

I don't actually want the series to continue. I don't even like the sequels. But a post like "it's never going to end" is too good to not to reply to.

I actually rather like what I played of Lightning Returns but I didn't get far so I'd love to see the entire trilogy ported over. I played enough of 13 to probably not double dip right away though.

I like it more than X too.

I'm not a big fan of Final Fantasy XIII, but I think some people need to be less pushy with their opinions.

I guess part of what I don't like about Final Fantasy XIII, is what some people don't like about a lot of popular games. It's more popular than a lot of things I like more, and I wish the games I like more, like Tales of Vesperia were more popular. Apparently, people do this with people, too. If someone is famous or popular. Like Phil Fish. Which seems kind of mean. I didn't like what Phil Fish said about Japanese games, and the sexual stuff he said was really creepy and messed up. But I feel like people are a little mean and unfair to him. I feel empathy for Phil Fish.

But I kind of feel that way about Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy XIII is one of my least favourite Final Fantasy games. And one of my least favourite RPGs for the PlayStation 3 or the XBOX 360. But everyone talked about it, and it sold more than a million copies. While so many people ignored Tales of Vesperia. That made me feel so sad. I wanted my favourite games to get the kind of love that Final Fantasy got.

But that's probably my least favourite thing about Final Fantasy XIII. Outside of that, Final Fantasy XIII was just kind of okay. It was probably really disappointing for people who were really looking forward to it. But as a kind of linear game it isn't that bad. It's not amazing but it has some nice things about it.

But I'm not going to make my sadness about popularity stop my happiness and excitement for more Japanese RPGs being on Steam. And I do think it will be really really pretty. I'm actually kind of really excited to support Square Enix putting more of their games on Steam. I think this is so wonderful, and I'm so happy about it.

Don't be going around spewing that crazy talk around here.

It has its flaws like it can feel a bit overwhelming including the terminologies.

I'd buy vanilla XIII in a heartbeat, really enjoyed it.

I'll pass on XIII-2 though, except if there's some discount to get the three, since I never played Lightning Returns.

FFXII: IZJS Edition HD would've been a better choice for a PC port tbh

FFXIII was developed on PC on a modern engine and already running on PC from what they said, FFXII HD port don't exist yet and would likely be multiplatform on several consoles, I would think 13 is the better choice out of the two for a pc port.

Do you even know what you posted like 10 minutes ago?

Lost cause. I give up.

What? Those post aren't in order.....And actually, there's nothing there that goes against what I said. You said FFXIII sucks so I assumed you thought that....How was I suppose to know what you think about the game? Like I said, I don't keep track of your opinions dude so of course you blankly saying the game sucks and not meaning it went over my head.

FFXIV: ARR is basically FFXII as an MMO and good. The art direction is very similar, and I wouldn't be surprised if they took place in the same "universe".

Nah... The only similarities they have is that Akihiko Yoshida did the character designs and some other things.

It's great that the big Japanese third parties are jumping on the PC train. The Steam market is too big for publishers to ignore now, you are basically missing out on another platform's worth of sales + tons of legacy sales if you don't put out a PC version. The western publishers figured this out a few years ago and now Japan is catching up!

You know, I actually kind of liked Final Fantasy X more than Final Fantasy XII.

I did really like some things about Final Fantasy XII, though. It was neat that there were lots of places you could explore, and lots of side quests and things to do. But Final Fantasy XII was very lonely. One of my favourite things about role playing games is the characters. And Final Fantasy XII didn't have much character development and there weren't many NPCs to talk to. It felt kind of like a dungeon crawling type of game.

While Final Fantasy X was a little more linear, it did have lots of places to explore and lots of things to do. And I liked the story, and there was lots of time spent with warm people rather than just exploring. The characters in Final Fantasy X aren't some of my favourite characters in Final Fantasy, but it was nice that they were warm and vibrant and and you got to learn and be around them a lot. It didn't feel lonely.

Things like this are what put such a smile on my face when I'm playing RPGs. But Final Fantasy XII... didn't have much of that. So I was a little bit disappointed.

I'd love having both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XII for Steam, though! I do like Final Fantasy X a lot more than Final Fantasy XIII.

If true, I'll probably give it a chance for $5 on a Steam sale. I don't like the premise of the game but I love XIII's OST.

I definitely understand this view, because I also agree that I am in FF for the heartwarming character.

But XII gave me this thing I didn't even know I wanted, and it hooked me. I didn't love it because it scratched that FF itch, but because it scratched an entirely new kind of exploration and mature tone itch.

Some part of me hopes this is a mistake because I've already spent so much on Lightning ;A;

I thought it would be the end but nopeeee if this is real I'd buy a new PC for it.

And the trilogy for like, the 6th time?

The XIII trilogy was always going to be ported eventually. I expected One and PS4 before or at the same time with Steam TBH.

It will Happen.I like XIII quite a bit despite its problems, and I hope remasters are able to correct them.

The only thing I REALLY want is the "Switch leader" Command to be worked into XIII...can´t be that hard.

I doubt they would change the content of the game...
