Ah sorry, I was just joking about how ModBot failed in the repost, saying it was texhnolyze's fault instead. How is he a fraud ? He wrote this in original post.
wanted to get more POE codes
turns out Obsidian quietly took off the 3-pack, single-game and expansion from the list of add-ons T_T
I don't think anyone is expecting the vertical slice visuals, I at least haven't seen any posts that would say that. Why are people expecting any sort of meaningful graphical update for thDX11 version of dS2?
What game has ever had any sort of meaningful upgrade for DX11? It's always meaningless shit like softer shadows, tesselation, or higher precision lighting, not complete overhauls.
That fancy lighting from the preview builds is totally doable on DX9. I mean, it already exists in Majula and a couple of other areas in the game.
The DX11 upgrades will be mostly invisible. Maybe better ssao (which is already available in GeDoSaTo).

thank you .
is all of the lore selfcontained in this game or is it part of a bigger universe spanning multiple games ?

For me personally I just need to see if From has matched the gedosato enhanced visual with their DX11 version, since gedosato won't work with the DX11 version anymore.
Given that this was a kickstarted game, it's currently self-contained in this game. If there was a bigger universe spanning multiple games you wouldn't see it for years. They'll probably see how well this game sells before deciding on a sequel, anyway. But given it's currently the top seller on Steam, surely they can't be too disappointed.
With GFWL gone, RE5 finally appeared on Indonesia Store. I knew that reg-lock bs was GFWL shenanigan. Has Dark Soul 1 fully migrate to Steamwork? It's still unavailable here. I'm not playing any DS before that one come.
Sega sale... I'm eyeing total war shogun, but holding on WotS4 before doing any purchase this month. March is coming to end and still no new news about it. If it going to be pushed back, it better say it now.
$30 is kind of the best deal for upgrade since you get the excellent DLC as well. Season pass alone is $25, so the upgrade really only costs $5.
Season pass owners are the ones getting shafted.
GeDoSaTo enhancements were mainly stuff like better AO, better DoF, great bloom, and post processing the color.
All of this can be done with Reshade, assuming that Reshade ends up working with Dark Souls II's depth buffer.
We'll miss out on great stuff like the texture replacement, obscenely high downsampling, full size screenshot capture and bicubic downsampling, but it should be possible to force GeDo like visuals out of the game, assuming it doesn't look as good. Reshade will likely perform worse than GeDo as well however.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is that at the least, we should be able to replicate the most plainly evident parts of how GeDo affected Dark Souls II.
Season pass was $25? Dang, that's hefty. Hm well I'll read up on the DLC and see if I'm still down for some more Souls so soon after Bloodborne.
Uh...it's available here (Indo store). Though somehow our price is higher than other regions except UK.
So how is pillars of eternity? Is that game more like diablo or baulders gate?
Asked a couple pages back, didn't get an answer...
Are upgrade discounts usable on gifts? Like when Deus Ex HR Director's Cut came out, could you buy gifts at 75% off? Or Guacamelee STCE at 66% off? Assuming the discount works the same with Dark Souls II: SotFS, could somebody that owns base+DLC buy a gift copy for $20 for somebody else?
If that won't work, what's the price likely to be on Nuuvem? And did vanilla DSII have an region restrictions there?
I just need a decent discount. Money's a bit tight, but I need some more Dark Souls in my veins. Everything else has been pretty stale after finishing DS1 a couple times...
what about the campaign almanac, which is outside the game and features lore
how much lore is in supplemental materials and not in the game itself
He did specify "spanning multiple GAMES" - so...my point stands.
GAF, it finally happened. After 260 hours of playing Battlefield 4, I finally got the luck of the draw with the gold battlepacks, and unlocked the Flat Adaptive camo. The only unlock I've wanted since the game came out, on October 29th, 2013.
Fuck you EA, for forcing this Battlepack garbage into this awesome series, and fuck you DICE for letting it happen.
What is a Battlepack? And what does it have to do with luck?
Depends entirely on the game. In most cases it works but in others publishers will not allow the purchase of the game as a gift.
I didn't post that to argue that you were incorrect but because I am curious, good sir.
Imagine opening a pack of Pokemon or Magic cards. Except each card you get is a random gun attachment, or weapon camouflage. Turns out lady luck decided to give me the weapon camouflage I've wanted since day-fucking-one of the game. Lol Also should be noted that these were only added in Battlefield 4, and now Hardline. If you're feeling impatient in getting them naturally, you can buy them with real-life money. Battlepacks are a way for EA to attempt to nickel and dime the player even further.
they were also in 3, something very similar in mass effect 3 and a worse version in plants vs zombies(apparently I'm the only one who feels that way though)
I just realized that the Steam version of Scholar actually arrives earlier then the new gen console versions. Huh.

BATTLEPACKS ARE THE WORST!
Like 200 hrs in this game and no flat adaptive either. It's literally the only camo I want.

so seems like dark souls 2 upgrade is 20 bucks for ppl with the season pass, huh
that's pretty bad

Lovely. All it needs is a Gacha machineIn light of recent business models, I'm thinking there will be DLC for the SteamGAF VN.
$2.99 DLC to enable dialog skip.
$4.99 DLC to enable fullscreen mode and better performance because apparently optimization is hard.
$4.99 DLC to get the ending, which we cut out initially under the guise of an artistic decision to have a cliffhanger ending only to gouge you for later.

If you really wanna cash in, you should do redhead DLC for $9.99
Could be a little cheaper but it isn't terrible imo. Then again it's the exact pricing I was expecting all this time.
eh, it's pretty bad imo. i think at 15 i would've felt compelled to buy it for the new enemy placements but at that price i'll just wait until it's 10 or lessIs that up on Steam? I mean, it's not a value price, but it's not horrendous. I was expecting to have to pay for the whole game in full.
