Humble literally had Metro LL complete last week for 8$ USD. You get literally every piece of DLC you can buy with it too. So why are we posting bullshit sites that have higher prices?

I noticed compression almost immediately on the Wolfenstein cutscenes. Checked the folder and there are 5 gb of pre-rendered videos. I want real-time cutscenes. The fuck is this shit.

But think of the poor PS360s. The sooner cross gen games phase out the sooner things will (hopefully) shift back to in engine, well until the current gen run out of oomph and then were back to artifacting again.

I knew I was going to get this response. xD

Hahaha sorry I couldn't resist. It is true though that they are quite under represented as a sole gameplay mechanic. I might have to trawl through Greenlight to see if there are any photo games hidden in there.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I'm not sure but Transistor might be live. Can someone check by restarting Steam?

BRB, gonna go tell my boss that I'm going to be sick for the rest of the week.

Card drop times are ridiculous today. I've spent more than four hours with Assault Squad 2 and I'm still waiting for my fifth (and final) drop.

I would not be surprised if it turns out that the key selling site is reselling aforementioned $8 Metro deal.

I heard it drops faster if you're playing it

In my experience this is just an urban legend.

Is it always like this. Have been trying idling QBEH-1 and Scribblenauts unmasked. But it's taking so much time. :(

Yesterday (or was it the day before?) was fine: one drop every 15~20 minutes, like usual.

That it exists? Or that Metro was on sale there?

Also, never link to CD Key sites.

A few of the more popular ones are on GAF's banned site list now.

That it exists.

are you new to PC gaming? Don't mind meanness of guys here, they are good people when you get to the bottom of things.
Here is a list of steam games selling sites to remember, bookmark them for future use:

http://www.greenmangaming.com/
http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/
http://digital.gamefly.co.uk/#!/pc
https://www.amazon.com/?tag=neogaf0e-20
https://www.humblebundle.com/store
http://groupees.com/
https://www.indiegala.com/

That'll do for starters. And don't buy games from unauthorized resellers, ever.

Can someone help me out. Does Windows 8.1 have a history of compatible issues with modern games? Bastion all of a sudden won't detect my controller. It was working before now it doesn't. All I did was add bastion as a tile to the start screen just to test out the feature and see how it looks, now this is the only game that doesn't detect a controller. I deleted the bastion tile and also deleted steam as a tile but it still won't work. :(

Does anyone remember the name of the game that came out around the same time DBTS did where it'd delete your hard drive if you tried to uninstall it?

Something like a massive battlefield with armies clashing.. 3/4th view, etc.

I think it started with a B and was short like ARENA or something..

With the Child of Light PSVita being announced, Im postponing the purchase of the PC version until it hits 75%off.

Forced Uplay integration basically puts it in the massive discount category. I actually haven't bought a Uplay game in years.

The only issue I am aware of with 8.1 is the Mouse input bug.

Microsoft fixed it for some popular games, but you have to fix it manually through a registry fix.

For you.

Its on of my most wanted games of 2014 but I was waiting for at least a 33%off discount because of Uplay. With a Vita release confirmed, physical even, I prefer getting that and eventually get the PC version when its dirt cheap.

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?

Looking at the Steam forums, this sounds like a similar problem:

You can try launching the game's exe directly and see if that works. Maybe make a tile out of it? (I don't have Win8) You can get to the exe easily enough by Right clicking on it in Steam and going Properties > Local files tab > Browse local files... button.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Man, I feel bad for people just discovering Humble Bundle now.

They're probably asking themselves what the big deal was.

So it works fine when I launch from the game launcher in the steam folder. That doesn't make any sense. I wonder if steam somehow messed up and uninstalling and re-installing would help.

I can't remember exactly but either the 8.1.1 update or some smaller one permanently fixed the mouse lag for everything.

Call me Mr. Trivia - you're talking about Bungie's Myth II.

The Detention Facility threw me for a loop. So ridiculous, you have to trundle through the entire level, nab some key and then backtrack all the way back to the beginning to a door that you could have easily missed. Nar Shadda was a non-sensical maze. Level and puzzle design like that I don't miss. I kind of get that pic that some people post when discussing old and newer shooters but at the same time, I don't miss the old coloured key/locked door shenanigans of yesteryear.
Shaddaa wasn't difficult to map and move through, but the fucking Boskks and the haphazard Concussion Rifle weren't properly designed to not feel lopsided against the player. And I'm not sure why the game expected to find a secret wall that actually hid the entrance into the Facility, but that certainly happened. I think find-the-keycard map design works well for the most part, though it can be a pain when the designers aren't willing to clarify parts of their maps. Sometimes just putting in a puzzle like the one on Coruscant can scratch that itch better than an obtuse segment of the level can.

Both of these, om nom. I can still get Sleeping Dogs for 75% off at the Humble Store, would you guys recommend I buy ahead of this port?
