does anyone here play ffxiv? GMG says it has other DRM, with no mention of steam. I guess that doesn't mean Steam just launches a separate browser? Also, is this game any good? Kinda dont wanna pay a sub, but if its good enough for xelios....

Just like FFXI and The Secret World, the steam version is only available from steam store.

FFXIV is really good btw. You'll feel like playing FFXII online version with the music and everything.

Well I'm in for The Forest and The Stomping Lands. Been waiting on the Forest for quite some time. I really can't wait until they add in the Oculus Rift support.

The Stomping Land is still supposed to be pretty bare bones but I'll support them and hope for the best.

Interestingly enough, as much as I have argued on Gaf that EA will eventually come back to Steam (and I am as certain of that as ever), I really don't care about many of their games.

I would probably pick up the new Simcity but only out of morbid curiosity for what they did to one of my favorite franchises.

imho, reviews based off of preview / beta keys should be clearly marked as such, similar to Early Access reviews

Basically, if the dev gave you a free pre-release key, I'm kind of inclined to be wary of your review.
