Resident Evil 5 comes to mind.
That's what you get for using inferior non-multinorm Argie TVs.i hate pal and ntsc
they only brought me issues back in 1998 when i was trying to buy pirated ps1 games off some shady pirate game street vendors and they were always all in black and white
never again
Were the scrambled image due to running say, a NTSC in a PAL console or because the TV itself didn't support the format?Haha, that or just a scrambled image. Good times. The former owners of one of the local stores in my town travelled to Bali a fair bit back in the day and for quite a while they were selling pirated copies of PSX games they'd picked up while overseas.
It happens to all region locked games and it's quite annoying :/I know, it's just the "no image" thingy bothers me. It was the only game I've played recently.

It's very playable right now. Doesn't quite feel complete yet, but the next major update is coming soon.Any comments about its current state? I had no idea why it was on my wishlist.
And fix the names:
resident evil 4 / biohazard 4
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 6 / Biohazard 6
ugh..
They'll just change it to
RESIDENT EVIL 5
Why, do you have retail keys from like 37 different versions waiting to activate?

Outlast is cheaper on the Humble Store just now, at $4.99Daily Spacebase DF9 40/60% off (lol at the 6 days overlapping the "offer ends" text. This seems wrong, somehow.)
Midweek
- Kerbal Space Program 40% off

The Japanese can only use capital letters in their store names.

Newest Playfire Head 2 Head, Spelunky vs Strike Suit Zero
http://blog.playfire.com/2014/05/playfire-rewards-spelunky-vs-strike.html?m=1
Glad I held off playing Spelunky all this time, pretty much a given that it will win the H2H
Outlast is 5$ there, cheaper for Europeans if they use HOLA Unblocker.
oh my! how much is Arkham Origins in US land? $7.49? Is it really runs so badly as I hear constantly?
wait... first I must ask Jasec are steam versions region locked, RU, for example?
DreadOut seems to have released already for $13.49, currently 10% off regular price. Odd since it was supposed to come out on the 15th, unless this is a mistake and it's still in the pre-purchase.
Detailed Dusk Golem created OT here.
The Sonic Collection is a good gift.
I guess Bus wins?
Rise of Prussia will return to Steam tomorrow...
...as a separate app. I might have to bug AGEOD/Slitherine for a key to the original.
Just saw it, nice! This can only mean one thing, really:
Bye, GFWL; hello, Steamworks!
Aha, then the second was technically compatible with NTSC (it likely had PAL-M support), it just didn't have support for it's specific colour carrier frequencyThe latter. Before my parents bought an NTSC-compatible TV, one just coughed up a scrambled image and the other displayed a crystal-clear image albeit without colour.
This, DX11 mode runs far better in Origins. Mind that I have AMD and thus no PhysX though. No, Origins in my experience runs significantly better maxed out than Arkham City. I imagine the DX9 performance levels would be very similar between the two though.
HOLA works?
Releases May 21st. $19.99 or $29.98 for the game + OST bundle.

They fixed it right as I clicked Purchase for Youself. ;~;

Actually, I had problems with running City, that's why I'm asking. I didn't believe complains about it and was proven wrong.
Origins nearing impulse buy levels. Still, gonna hold out for a complete edition with the DLC.
First of all, do I need a Bluetooth dongle?
It's one key for everything. For those who purchased the Sonic Hits collections, can we give away the games that we already have?
