Did you run Arkham City in DX9? Because the DX11 features are what cause the issues in that game.
No, I believe I didn't. (._.)
It was not exactly unplayable, but as I'm so particular about a game running smoothly, I just dropped it without much fiddling for a time.

Blade Symphony from that Humble sale looks awesome. Has anyone here played it?

ATM I tempted by Blade Symphony and AO most, was planning to get both down the line too.

That's what you get for using inferior non-multinorm Argie TVs.
Here in UY almost all TVs had support for a bunch of PAL and NTSC variants, so no issues with colours or sound or anything (first hand experience as I had an European SNES sadly).
well for the longest time of my life we had two tvs, a big one that my mom and dad used and a 14'' my mom got for free by trading some supermarket points or something like that

so like it was a pretty barebones tv and clearly no pal/ntsc support

i still felt really bad when it broke last year :(

Seriously, I really need to get this to work.

I have a Dual Shock 4 and I want it to work with my computer. First of all, do I need a Bluetooth dongle? I have one connected if needed.

If you want it to work wirelessly then yes you do, otherwise microUSB cable is all you need (+ the wrapper)

But of course wireless is better IMO.

oh guess it's region locked or something, not showing up on my end, i already have generations and it's 1 key so... i guess I'll just buy transformed somewhere else

I remember getting that Sonic Hits Collection on Steam for around £4.99 when they had that misprice, can't believe it's going for that price legitimately now. Superb deal.

Is £2.99 for Shadowrun Returns the lowest it's been? I think I'll grab it.

One simple change is all I ask for the client. Being able to rename any title in your library to anything you choose. Would solve all the organisational problems
and satisfy my mild compulsive urges
all at once.

Change we can believe in. My OCD can't handle looking at my library

Daily Spacebase DF9 40/60% off (lol at the 6 days overlapping the "offer ends" text. This seems wrong, somehow.)
Midweek
  • Kerbal Space Program 40% off
  • Outlast 66% off

Need more Early Access games on sale

Batman Arkham Origins is $7.49 in the Humble Store.

Shit that didn't take long.

It seems that Dread Out was released early on accident, it's no longer an option now. GAFfer SlasherJPC was just telling me this. I'll keep my eye on this one since it seems interesting.

Singularity is pretty good so far. Port is not the best to say the least, but it runs well.
Even though I enjoyed it quite a bit back then, it felt at times like a poor man's Bioshock. A well done one at that. But somehow and after replaying Bioshock I've come to find Singularity more enjoyable, despite Bioshock's narrative and environments. I just don't like Bioshock's gunplay at all anymore, and it is a big issue given how integral to the game it is.

Also, I was recently very surprised to read over in RPS (I think it was, can't find the article now) that it went through a really difficult development. At some point they had to scrap half of it and finish what they could before rushing it out of the door, which is both really impressive, given how decent it was as a middle-tier game, and really sad, for what it could have beeen.

You could always use a proxy for the purchase. I used OpenVPN myself, as it was slightly cheaper in the US, and I had USD currency in my Paypal to use.

Did we always have this?

You will like it if you LOVED JK2/3 no force, lightsaber only Multiplayer. Had 20hours of fun, should try it again i think there were alot of balance patches the last months.

edit: is there a thread for humblebundle spring sale? It´s 2 weeks long, a own thread would be usefull.

Chubingas you really are a bad person.
I've already bought CSD twice on Steam and now you come up with a sale including the Android version, just 2 hours after the mailman delivered to me my first Android tablet ever.

Thanks man, really.
No, really.
Really.

How many russiabucks for transistor?

419 (~$11.80) for the game alone or 499 (~$14.10) for the game + OST bundle. Factoring in profit margins you're looking at $12.50/$13 (or 7 keys) or $15 (or 8 keys) respectively.

No. My PC doesn't have any form of Bluetooth and the DS4 works perfectly.
Is yours wired?

If you want it to work wirelessly then yes you do, otherwise microUSB cable is all you need (+ the wrapper)

But of course wireless is better IMO.
Yeah, I want it to be wireless, so me and my gf can play in front of the HDTV.

I have the bluetooth connected but it didn't work, when I used the SCP-DS drivers.

Uguu, this sale... I must resist or I will never be able to upgrade my PC ! Well, a sub 10$ game couldn't hurt... oh, and what about another one...
HALP !

He knew when you could buy a smartphone and timed the sale to match it's arrival!

Hack 'n' Slash is live:

$19.99 / £14.99 / 19,99€ / 419р.

Developers said:
“We’re releasing on Early Access so that players can influence the tuning of the mechanics, provide ideas for puzzles, help guide our Steam Workshop integration, and support the final game. Hack 'n' Slash is still in development and there will be bugs, but players who get in now will help us improve a game that can expose people to a whole new way of playing and thinking about games. Check out our development roadmap below for more details on our Early Access plan!”

About the Game
Hack ‘n’ Slash is a puzzle action game about hacking -- reprogram object properties, hijack global variables, hack creature behavior, and even rewrite the game’s code! The game is in Early Access so that you can help us improve it before it’s finished. And remember, the only way to win is not to play...by the rules!

The wizard has mandated that everyone confine themselves to the village, the castle armory has started to forge weapons so powerful that no one but guards are allowed to carry them, and anyone who attempts to find a sprite and demonstrate their bravery would face certain death. The new laws are for your own protection, but you don’t buy it. You’ll show everyone what “brave” means and, if you’re clever, maybe uncover the secret reasons why everything’s gone sideways.

  • Use in-game tools to hack the game while you’re playing it
Your sword can hack the variables of objects. You find magic artifacts that allow you to tune global variables to your liking. Discover equipment that lets you see the game’s internal debug visualization to uncover things that weren’t meant to be seen.
  • Hack the code
As you achieve advanced hacking mastery, you’ll be able to dive directly into the game’s assembly in the form of procedurally generated dungeons and modify the live-running code.
  • Make the game yours
Puzzles have myriad solutions, many of which we haven’t anticipated. As you master the game’s hacking mechanics, you can mould and shape the game in whatever way you desire.
  • Crash it!
You’re hacking the game for real! You can totally break it. Roll back in time to change the rules so the bugs don’t cause the world to fall apart, whether they’re yours or ours!
