You know, something I really appreciated about LiS Ep. 3 is they actually modeled Chloe with her hat off. I know it's something really small, but so many games will just stick with the same model even it doesn't make sense with what they are doing. Like at the beginning of Second Son Delsin is in bed for who knows how long but they just leave him completely dressed with his stupid beanie on.

Was my favorite that year it hit Steam. I'd been pretty bored with Roguelikes at that point but Teleglitch managed to hit everything I didn't think I'd wanted at once. Even the eye-ravaging software mode VGA Quake-esque visuals.
I've also never beaten it, because damn does it really get tough.

Going from 1366x768 to 1920x1080 is a ginormous shift.
There is so much space suddenly!
Did you know that incredibly many pages have empty place on the sides at full-hd?
Even browsing Gaf is different. There's so much info on a single line and images as well!
Still trying to get used to this resolution. It's the firs time I have 1080p as a normal resolution for windows. Crazy. Totally recommend it to you all.

I also went from a 16 or 17 inch 1366x768 to a 23" 1920x1080 awhile back and it was quite a jump up. Really puts you in the game, and blu rays look great on it.

21:9 really looks nifty :OWhile the performance and scaling of The Witcher 3 is mostly great (with a few oddities that tweaking in the GUI doesn't quite give the results I'd expect) the really story is this...
21:9 support out the box! Cutscenes are pillar box to 16:9 but I can live with that and more of a sign CDPR have taken multi-monitor and ultrawide monitor setup in to account (Max Payne 3 and GTA V still have the best blending for multi-monitors even though MP3 fucks up on 21:9 during cinematics).
Not gonna lie. Your screens are on promo-levels of beautiful!I bumped Textures to Ultra, Grass and Foliage to High and game still runs at 30 FPS

Yeah, thats like a ssd a quality of life gamechanger. I used to run on cheap laptops and was amazed about my first 1080p monotor. Next stop for you: two full monitors. I tell ya, it's fantastic.

Hah. Not sure how compatibility and performance would go at 1080 times two. On my desk there is just barely even place for two screens at this size. But for devs/modellers I can see the extreme advantages of so much space!

I don't know the exact resolution, but it's definitely 3something. It's a tiny little Dell laptop.
I ain't no dev, but you can for example play a game on fullscreen and watch Netflix at the same time. Or watch two pornos on fullscreen at once.

I once hooked my 768p monitor to my 768p laptop. When I opened a game on one screen, I couldn't just go with my mouse to the other and click there. Upon clicking the game would minimize always :/
having two monitors was the best
concept art on one screen, blender on my other screen, or just code and level editor

This is interesting. Sounds to me like a similar thing to Kinect where your room gets flooded with IR. Could lead to cool stuff especially since the dev said you could plaster your hands with sensors and have them in-game!

My wife opened a link with malware she got through facebook, the damn thing started to send more links to everyone on both her and my friendlists, it was shooting messages all over the place like crazy.
Out of everything I tried only Malwarebytes was able to detect and delete it, the damn thing was starting to drive me crazy.

Borderless Windowed is the magix. And even if doesn't have that with a game you can still throw Netflix in that automatically goes to the next episode. This is how I consumed Clone Wars while playing other stuff.

Uninvited is the perfect hoarding simulator. My inventory in Shadowgate was quite packed when I was finished with it, but that game has nothing on this one. I currently have 3 pillows, various bottles, kitchen utensils, and much more. The atmosphere is pretty creepy, and I expect to get stuck any minute now. Btw, there are spiders in this game.
