Oh I didnt see it was a new sub. So I guess those of you who want to buy a copy of Witcher 3 should try and see if any trader have any left in their inventory.

They could still easily release a H-patch on their website and distribute it from there. I think they are doing it for Sunrider, where you can download a patch so you get the H-version.

Yup, it basically check for an extra file that contains everything.
If the file is there, STEAMY.
No file? Steam...

This works great because Steam won't try to override that file since it doesn't know about it.

i'm fairly certain thats what Love in Space did to patch love in space into Sunrider

I don't think the new Witcher sub has working ACRTAG either. They just "disabled" gifting on it, and the red tags never show up during the checkout process.

lol I probably shoulda asked this earlier, but is there anyplace still doing any discounts on Valkyria Chronicles? Watching everyone enjoy the game is making me want to kinda replay it again now, especially with how good it looks.

Thats why I dont know why Sekaiproject (and mangagamer) isnt doing that with other titles.

I wonder why he didn't went PC + Xbox in the first place giving that DP (and Swery) got so much more popular when it went on PC? In this day and age it does make zero sense to not get your game on PC (unless you have been paid huge sums). Just look at how user generated videos make a much better job at getting visibility than any small dev could ever afford.
Hopefully he brings it on PC.

Really weird that a game gets shipped in such a state. I can't believe that neither the performance problems nor the glitches/bugs were unknown when it went gold. What are those supposed 1000 ubi folks doing in 4 years? Shouldn't +100m$ guarantee at least somewhat of a quality product?

Really shows that good artstyle can make even very low-poly models and world look more beautiful than most AAA games.
I wonder what big studios could do with low-cost artstyle and having more free "power" to use for other, neglected things like AI, physics etc.?

Valve is being very backwards by not opening a +18 category.
PC is about choice, not restriction. Let me make the decision to play AO stuff, don't make that decision for me.

That's one way to do it :p. I wonder why ACRTAG just doesn't seem to be able to be applied to Witcher 3. It's really weird.

To anyone who likes Red Orchestra 2 I really really recommend downloading Insurgency and playing it. It's great, and it has huge workshop support.

I think the problem is that Valve would need to check the laws of each country. Some have laws that drawn naked loli characters would be CP. Some countries have laws that you have to verify your age by ID if you wanna watch at porn content.

Makes sense but Steam could afford that. They are the biggest DD on PC. There is no excuse except being lazy or cheap imo?

I guess then it would be problematic if you couldnt purchase Game ABC in lets say Malaysia, but people would still want to play it there and then an outcry would happen.

Besides. They had 2 people for Greenlight. I somehow doubt they would ask lawyers from every country to look into such problems.
