Uugh, just one more thing to do in Arkham Knight, I'm 97,2% done and I just to capture the Riddler... but to do that I have to find all his riddles and they are MANY.... think I will skip the "real" ending.

I just finished the story last night, and got up to 90% or so, then uninstalled the game. No way in hell am I going through all that just for an ending I can find on YouTube.

Did enjoy the game way more than I thought I would, though.

I seem to remember Skyrim topped out at about 300K or so on release, presumably that was before that site starting compiling figures.

Transistor didn't even make my top 5 for 2014.
It was kind of disappointing to me... I had such high hopes after finishing Bastion.
It's still a solid game... it might've been in my top 10 for 2014 for the GAF GotY voting, if it makes you feel any better.

That all said, it's worth the current $4.99 entry price, for sure.

I didn't really like Bastion, in fact, I gave up on it after 5 hours but I found Transistor to be amazing. I adored the atmosphere and storytelling, but it was the combat that really surprised me. It has so much depth with all of the possible combinations. Even on my second playthrough, I was still experimenting with different strategies and discovering new favourites. $4.99 is a steal.

On an unrelated note, I got an SSD yesterday and oh my god, it is incredible! I usually would be loathe to turn off or restart my computer (damn you Windows updates), but now it's no issue. I put Dota on there since I play it the most, and the load times are so drastically improved, I don't know how I ever went without one.

Yeah. Used to be the majority of my friend list was on Dota 2 whenever I logged in. Now it seems that most of the people I played with either quit entirely or just plays occasionally.

So when's the Durante vs Krejlooc showdown happening

Though after a month of using Steam Controller for everything, even PC navigation when slumped on the sofa, it doesn't come close to as precise as a mouse (Mass Effect 2 & 3's hacking mini games are close to impossible on a Steam Controller regardless of settings). Well then again 4 small ligaments in your thumb verses about 8 medium to large ones in your wrist backed up by forearm strength is a bit of an unfair fight. Still neither have anything on a graphics tablet (though that's a trippy experience in mouse to camera based titles).

Now remember to not give up after an hour or two. Once you figure out what type of settings work (for you) with each game type it'll get better, a lot better. The controller is also in a MUCH better place now than it was month ago when the first controllers were sold. They added sooo many options and features based on customer feedback.

Also the controller is not the perfect solution for every game so don't try to force it.
