One orcs killed me, then he killed other orcs, two or three. Now is he a super-orc?

Sort of. Orc captains will increase their power (every captain has a power rating on the Sauron's Army screen) both by killing you, and by completing missions. Some of these missions are duels or executions of other orcs, while others are recruiting soldiers, hunts, feasts, etc. You can interfere with these missions to prevent the captain from increasing in power, or just outright kill him. But they typically only go up one level at a time, so even killing you and 3 other orcs only increases his power by 4. The maximum power level is 20. You can also send a death threat against a captain (you unlock this ability later on), which will increase their power level by 5, and give them a group of orcs that always follow them around and protect them.

I'm going to laugh when Mordor gets GOTY. It's got a good base for a sequel, but it's lacking in so many areas. The main missions suck. The world sucks. The combat is even easier than Ryse. The Nemesis System carries the game.

I honestly don't know where all the 9's and 10's came from. The game was fun to play for a bit, but now I just want to be done with it. *shrug*

Every time I did something in the game that was collecting or mission related, it was pretty underwhelming. I really wish that they had done more with Nemesis and made one big map full of strongholds with warchiefs to bring down and then try to defend as other ambitious captains (also working through the Nemesis system) attempted to retake the garrison and call it their own. Anything story related or scripted gets the shitbin.

Sort of like a dynamic Middle Earth Mount and Blade, or Far Cry . Maybe the problem wasn't that SoM ripped off an Ubisoft game for its design, but merely that the ripped off the wrong one.

Its weird though. When going through the text to preload BL:TPS it states you need 10 gigs for the download but the Steam only downloads 5. Others have commented on this in the Steam forum.

The CD key you get with the Steam version can also be registered on Origin for multiaccounting!
Still has GFWL tho.
You'd think Epic would at least let people play with an offline profile.
