So many good games, so little time. I haven't even finished playing the games I bought this August. Fable Anniversary and Shadowrun: Dragonfall seems interesting though.

Mine was at one time too. Now I probably access the internet and watch media more with my phone and tablet and since I left IT, I no longer keep up with anything computer related.

I'm so not looking forward to working Destiny release week. So much time that I can't spend playing games...
Don't mind me... just internally sobbing over here.

On the plus side, my paycheck will be beautiful. So I guess there's that.

Definitely Hatoful Boyfriend. Maybe DR3 if I have time. Maybe Planetarian if the price is reasonable enough.

Also might start up Shadowrun Returns and try to beat that before Dragonfall comes out. Probably won't get around to it though.

Well, for my part, I can't say that there are many evident day one purchases in September. But The vanishing of Ethan Carter will be instabought, that's pretty sure. Superb visuals, interesting mood, I'm in.

And I still haven't finished my big game from August : hesitate between a ps4, an xbox one or a new gpu that will destroy my wallet and won't be a sure bet with ubi games.

I think yakkue is a boy tbh. He gave me an invaluable tip some time ago which saved me from some trouble. Thanks again! He usually posts sparsely here but mostly I see his screenshots of Trail in the Sky on my activity feed (which I browse so often) so I guess he's the minority who actually plays the games ;)
Just checked and yeah, profile is private now. Hmm, didn't know that's possible when you're friends. Hope yakkue's fine.

What a coincidence! I was just browsing their site. Thanks to Minsc again from the semi-OT for clearing to me what Star Citizen actually is (supposed to become). Don't know if he lurks here though. Anyway thanks Minscy!
I hope you guys try the heck out that game this week then and post some footage/webms. My laptop wouldn't even start, hah.

Has anyone had steam idle master error that says "Error loading config file"? My settings.txt is correct. Works fine on my windows desktop but not on my ubuntu laptop.

edit: nevermind figured it out

edit2: now it's not showing me in game...hmmm

The thirst is real. I'm completely sunk into Skyrim at the moment, but since I've got 52$ in my steam wallet I keep looking at what I could buy.

Then I think how much more I could get during the winter sale. Though Butt Butt Adventures is tempting.

I won't be playing but Dead Rising 3, Planetary Annihilation, Planetarian, Reprisal Universe, Naruto (sucker for the visuals), Shadowrun, Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Albedo look very good. Thanks for posting as I didn't even hear about some of those games.
Also, I watched the trailer for Hexcells but still don't know what the logic is behind the puzzles? Granted, it's 6am here.

For anyone who is playing Dead Rising 3.
You want to clear out all the safe houses ASAP.
That should be your first go when you are in a new part of the city.

They probably could, yeah. But it looks like they're turning MN9 into some kind of cross-media thing, and that can't be inexpensive. I can understand why they're doing so many fundraisers for the kind of project this is turning out to be. I can also see why people would disagree with their choice.

Within 15 minutes after reinstalling Tomb Raider, I was reminded how unclear the QTE instruction is.

I kept getting crushed by a boulder over and over again because my Lara can't kick a guy away

Here's what I had to say in a previous thread:
I grabbed this game on the summer sale partially to pass the Capcom test that Microsoft is forcing us through to "earn" the Halo collection and partially out of curiosity as to why they chose this as their premiere non-AAA title pre-Xbone launch. It was a disappointment on both levels. The game is a follow up to Max and the Magic Marker, a decent enough indie game from a time when the market wasn't quite so saturated. In the original the game the titular marker functioned exactly as you would expect a marker to function: you drew on the screen to create new objects and pathways through the level. In the sequel, they dumbed it down quite a bit. You can now only draw in predefined locations and these predefined locations automatically select how the marker will function. This change was probably brought upon the series by the shift in focus to a controller rather than a mouse and keyboard and while I understand that necessity it does make for a bit of a thoughtless and uncreative puzzle solving experience. To compensate for this, the developers decided to add a surprising amount of "combat" to the game in the form of irritating enemies who can all one-shot you and sometimes demand frustratingly fast response and accurate drawing. I hated these enemy encounters. They weren't a fun way to increase gameplay variety at all. Making things even worse were the really uninteresting visuals and character designs that weren't anywhere near as cute or charming as they needed to be for the tone of the story. Texture resolution was just sad and the backgrounds usually felt like they had little effort put into them. Compared with a game like Trine 2, it looks a generation behind. For a sidescrolling game, I expect more.

Verdict: Don't bother at any price. The puzzle design isn't clever, the combat and platforming are irritating, and the graphics are disappointing.

Out of those? None. Lately though I have been playing the Sims 3 again (I was compelled to after seeing how much content had been ripped out of the base game of Sims 4).
