And that's what makes it brilliant. But the mollycoddled checkpoint generation can't be by the fact that there's no easy way to save or that dying means starting over.
At least DR2 is getting steamworks. That's close enough for me at this point. I always liked Chuck (and the whole infected daughter motivation/mechanic) better than Frank anyway.

I just mean, if they release the all-ages version on Steam, then offer an uncut-patch (that might have all the uncut-content) on their website, it wouldnt be Valves problem, would it?

Sure, there's nothing Valve can do about externally-hosted content, however Steam distribution is apparently a no-go.
No, it wouldn't be Valve's problem. That's entirely possible to do and Valve has no reason(or power) to restrict that.

When the floodgates open it will be simultaneously JaseC best dream and worst nightmare. Just imagine all the games that will be published for a hour at most before being removed for having pornography or other questionable content(by Valve's guidelines) and all the copyright violations that can be possibly done (hi StrategyFirst!). I do wonder if they will keep the files up on their servers on these cases so people who bought it before it was removed can access it.

How many of you leave chat sounds on? I guess I was under the assumption that everyone just turns those off pretty quickly, but I've occasionally heard it in the background of voice chats with friends, and it mildly terrifies me to think about.
They've been off for so long, I hear Facebook chat sounds when I try to think of what it sounded like.

Don't know why, but apparently nowadays in Italy everybody uses the (Samsung, I believe) whistle ringtone, and apparently everybody receive receive more than 50 texts per minute.
One of my colleagues once tried using it in the office and I was about to flush his phone down the toilet.
Now, the girl next door started using it and leave her phone near her window, like a couple of meters from my balcony, and I can hear her fucking whistle like it was hardcoded in my brain.
I think if I get to know the guy that invented that ringtone and/or the guy that approved for its inclusion in Samsung phones, I'd probably kill both of them.

Amount of choices: 5 (So at least 5 times more than Sakura Spirit, and assuming the two paths diverge greatly, that's up to 10 times more)
Art: Again very nice, nothing to comment on
Writing: Much, much better than Sakura Spirit. Still some grammatical errors and purple prose, but at least I didn't cringe at every single line.
Also, there was an actual plot this time, which helped a lot, even if it was rather stock shoujo =p
Don't go in expecting the best story ever, but at least it's not a waste of your time, unlike Sakura Spirit.

It's probably just me, but it seems like it's more noticeable this console gen than the last.
I'm pleasantly surprised that it actually sounds pretty decent, especially considering that it was originally released before Sakura Spirit. So either Winged Cloud got a new writer that isn't that good or something happened.

Damn, I had high hopes the new store would increase sales. I don't like the redesign, but if it had the effect of making devs more money I would have been happy anyway.
