Today I picked up Borderlands 2, DLC Quest, Go Home Dinosaurs, Super House of Dead Ninjas and Mutant Blob Attacks. I think BL2 will be the only "big" game I pick up during the sale but I have my eye on a number of indie titles. Hopefully the ones at 33% or 50% appear in a flash or daily deal.

In other news I finally got around to downloading Desura and bought Crayon Chronicles. I want to start following gaf's indie thread / steam group more closely

If you didn't Demon's Souls because of the graphics, then:
1) you shouldn't buy Dark Souls
2) there is something seriously wrong with you because the art is nice (IMO), plus the game is so well designed and awesome that it overrides the "less-than-AAA" look it sometimes has.

So basically, if it bothered you thaaaat much, then avoid it; if you can get over graphics that you don't like as much as other games, you'll be treated to two of the best games of the generation and be ready for what's likely to be a third (Dark Souls II).
