Already got plenty on my wishlist ready to be bought at a moment's notice! Hopefully Strange Brigade (Deluxe Edition) will end up on the cheap as we've just finished Zombie Army Trilogy and are in the mood for more shooty shoots of the Rebellion variety.

I'll probably pick up the following myself:

Wot aboot you Gaf?

Forgot about GTTOD and WRATH, thanks for the reminder.

Rather than saying "Please wishlist us on steam" in every tiny video in the showcases we've been getting recently they should actually integrate steam wishlisting with a link on the stream somehow. So you just literally click it while you are watching the game, and bam its on your wishlist and the problem of forgetting about games is gone. Well, forgetting about game reveals at least.

Honestly nothing lol. I mean I have a decent amount of games in my wishlist but the ones I truly want are still early access and the ones I dont are just indies I might buy one day but not in the mood now and a lot of unreleased stuff.

MAXIUM Action is my most wanted but its in early access since 2018...they sure are taking their time. Also Subnautica Below Zero but that one is most likely going to be finished in 2021-2022.

Basically meh. Terrible year for games imo. It's been 6 months now and I've only enjoyed 3 games so far Doom Eternal, Ori and Desperados.

Looking at xplane 11, cloudpunk, daemon x machina. I feel sad that I didn't have a decent gaming PC during steam sale's golden years; these days the sales are decent but not mind boggling.

You should play Monster Train. Game of the Year boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

Been waiting on a deeper discount on Planet Zoo. Don't think I'll spend long enough with it to justify RRP.

Chances of a 50% in RDR2? I would like to get that game but only dirt cheap as its not a great port and I have doubts about the gameplay.
Otherwise I would like to get HZD or DS, hopefully with some minor discount. Taking one for the team to bring Bloodborne to PC.

Sadly roguelikes are something I can't enjoy. I have Dead Cells in my library and havent played more than a few hours of it even tho I love metroidvanias. I like progressions and games with deep lore or stories. Thats why I cant even play tycoons even tho I'd love to buy planet zoo and whatever else but I bought that hospital game from SEGA and it was boring as hell. It was basically on rails 90% of my time spent with it. Why the hell dont they make games like Starcaft 2. RTS, heavy on the story, cinematic, etc.

It's fine, I am still playing Desperados 3 which will keep me busy for another week or two and then I have XCOM Chimera Squad and Outer Wilds. Maybe I'll play some coop stuff with friends.

Did you try C&C Remastered? It's not a new game but it's awesome. Humankind getting delayed into 2021 was a huge disappointment for me. I really like the way that studio does their strategy games, as they do build lore and stories into them in a way Civ does not. So I'll keep waiting for that. Both Endless Space 2 and Endless Legend are really good if you have not tried them.

I am looking out for solid discounts on Doom Eternal, Total War 3K or Warhammer 1/2, Field of Glory Empires, Spyro, Outward, Fantasy General 2... I won't buy all of them but maybe 1 or 2.

Meh, kinda have everything I want. Been much more selective in the past few years. Waiting for HZD & Death Stranding atm, and at least for the former we might get a nice sale on it because you'll be able to buy it from all the copies that get bundled with Ryzens. Usually that means <$20.

I'll wait for RA2 remaster. Never liked the first one, or at least enver liked it when I was young but times/tastes change, maybe I'll try it. How's Endless Space 2 regarding progression/story? Is it like CIV where you just play skirmishes with AI or does it actually have a story and an end? Do I need to play the first one?

Got money earmarked for Horizon: Zero Dawn and another full price game. I'll probably spend another 50-60€ on games from my wishlist or anything else interesting I come across.

Had this one on my wishlist for ages and it recently got an English translation. A little discount and I'll nab it.

I hope the Bandai Namco games will keep their % since I keep of buying them now to buy them in the Sale for Sale-Tradingcards/ Badge Progress...

yes I am a sucker for those things and I know BUT I AM PROUD OF IT!!

Will probably look on the front page, say meh at all the 20 and 30 percent off, and skip the sale again like the last few years.

I love all the memes of Steam taking everyone's money that were valid 5-6 years ago.
Now that they allow refunds, the sales have been anemic at best.
20% off for a 3 year old game?!?!?!? Hide my wallet from Gabe, quick!

These sales are just no fun anymore without dailies. I know it's been said before and it'll be said again, but it's true. Anyways, I have a pretty big wishlist at this point of stuff i'd like to have, but only a small handful of things I'm realistically hoping to be in the 60-80% off range, which is my sweet spot for these sales. Usually individual themed sales or publisher sales have the better discounts over the seasonal sales these days, so if it's 50% or less off, I recommend waiting unless you really need it now.

Hoping that a few JRPGs I don't have go on sale. Seems like they never do these days.

Specifically hoping for 50-75% off of the above, but I think I'm just setting myself up for disappointment.

I think you'll get 50% on Heroes and VIII, not sure on Octopath, but it's a great game.

Is there a reason you're doing DQH 1 instead of 2? I've asked before if there's anything in 1 that isn't wrapped up/improved in the sequel, but nobody ever answers me.

Yeah 50% is the most likely scenario. Thing is, I own and have played these games on other consoles anyway - I'm just crazy.

For Dragon Quest Heroes - I actually liked the first game better than the second one. It had a much more Dynasty Warriors-like feel to it. Depart from the hub (your ship that can fly) to an area to do a mission, then return to the ship once you're done. Everything felt pretty straightforward and streamlined. The second game was all over the place for me. There was still a hub (the town) but the rest of the map was kinda open-world and when you got a quest you had to travel to that area on foot. The combat was nearly identical but everything felt cumbersome.

Story wise, they're completely stand alone and have nearly nothing to do with each other so you could easily skip the first if you wanted to.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the second game a lot and the new characters were fun. I just prefer the first game.

You're not wrong, discounts are not as crazy as they used to be, but that's outside Valve's control as publishers set the amounts themselves. If you wanna blame someone, blame Sergey Galyonkin. His data-mining work with Steamspy made a lot people rethink how they apply discounts.

I got Skyrim GOTY, my most played game of all time by a wide margin, for £5. That's never going to happen again, I know that much. Morrowind and Oblivion never even go that low now.

Looking to buy some expensive game on a big sale.
End up not buying it because 10-30 euros is too expensive.
End up going through the games list with "lowest price first" and buying dozens upon dozens upon dozens of 0,39€ games and using more money than I would've used buying that one good expensive game.
