Fuck including the Longest Journey all the point and click adventure games that have been on my wishlist are on sale.
Not that easy, it's a very good game, but it definitely helps if you know a lot about football, and it certainly doesn't hold your hand a lot. That said, the community is pretty good, and if you are patient you could learn it.InertiaXr said:How easy is it to get into FM2011 if you are from the US and only know about American football and basketball? Only soccer I have ever watched is the World Cup last year.
Doesn't the console version have horrible tearing? Vsync+Triple Buffering alone easily tips the scale.Stallion Free said:Idk, it was a meh port, but with a bit of effort it looked like a generational leap better than the console version.

From other replies so far, Vietnam is the one you want, rest is PvP maps or DLC robes.wilflare said:any Magicka DLC to recommend?

(a guy with 498 seconds has it, a guy with 560 seconds doesn't, so the most logical threshold between the two is 500)
True. You can also force AA if you know what you're doing.Horsemama1956 said:Doesn't the console version have horrible tearing? Vsync+Triple Buffering alone easily tips the scale.
It's never been on sale before EVER. It is too good to be true, just get it.Team Vernia said:Anyone know if that Longest Journey/Dreamfall bundle is good for the length of the sale? Should just wait until the last day to buy unless it's a daily deal right?
So I've heard, but I'm keeping expectations managed until I play it. I'll allow it to surprise me in a good way.Drek said:Its a lot more than a half-competent.
I'd imagine there's not going to be a daily deal since it's already 75% off roflTeam Vernia said:Anyone know if that Longest Journey/Dreamfall bundle is good for the length of the sale? Should just wait until the last day to buy unless it's a daily deal right?

I was warned by another member when it was last on sale. Saved me the trouble.

StuBurns said:I'll wait it out for another day maybe. It's only like two quid anyway, I don't even care about the money, I'm just pissed at the crappy service. Same thing with Sony not refunding my BG&E money actually.

BUY The Longest Journey. That game is amazing, absolutely amazing.
Dreamfall is meh... some people enjoy it though.
But you absolutely have to play TLJ if you like adventure games.
Haha you're welcome.echoshifting said:Thanks for paying it forward dude. You have saved me in turn.
Ahhhh see I wish I had known that before I double-dipped. Serves me right. -_-

Perish the thought.ohhthegore said:Buy it for PC and play with keyboard mouse?
jaundicejuice said:That's insane for a promotional achievement.
Enco said:Cool thanks. I'll miss it out then.
ciaossu said:I'm installing it right now, I'll let you know.

Just incompetence everywhere. It's really irritating.JaseC said:Yeah, with all those millions upon billions Valve have to spend on the Half-Life 3 team for the sake of enabling their cocaine-fuelled hooker partiesit seems rather odd that they're still lacking in the customer service department. Valve definitely need to improve in that area.
That BG&E refund business with Sony strikes me as particularly strange, too. Usually platform holders are quick on the draw to correct such transgressions.
