Anyone else get their Saira free key? Where do we download the game?

When you download the game from his site the key will unlock it into the full game (go into Settings in the menu to input the key.)

I want to play it now, but I'm actually playing Nightsky at the moment! So enjoyable.

Fantastical

Death Prophet
Downloaded Plants vs. Zombies because my computer can't handle much more. I'm pretty happy. :) (also downloaded Puzzle Agent and Puzzle Agent 2)

Question for you vets... is the sale a bit weaksauce so far this year or is it because we already own most of the stuff that gets discounted? Even the things I would buy that are already in my library have hardly made an appearance. I've only bought Bit.Trip Runner (and Civ 5 from Gamersgate) so far :/

Not at all though considering there's like 10 more days of 12x daily deals, loving it.

Yea... it has been kind of weak this year. There's been a lot of stuff that's been cheaper in the christmas sale.

Although, last year's summer sale started off weak, but then it got a lot better.

Yup it's been weak for me because I usually own at least half of the day's deals. However I only have like 140 games which is weak compared to the hundreds or more people have here so I didn't think I would run into this problem so early.

Today for instance I already owned 6/12 of the games on sale, even more if you count the franchise ones like battlefield and half life. The games I don't already have I'm usually not interested in. I'm still hopeful the rest of the sale will be better though.

Yeah, even though I'm terrible at SMB I'm not going to screw up my progress with a save file. It's just a ticket.

Wow, people are doing that? Pretty cheap.

About the only time anyone should ever download a save is for ME2 where you can download various saves for ME1 based on choices the main character made.

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
Made a .txt file so i don't forget what i bought, though i've also set a category on steam titled "2011 Summer Sale Purchases"

Steam Summer 2011 Purchases:
Lead & Gold - £1.05
Magicka - £2.71
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - £5.00
Plants vs Zombies - £2.37
Bioshock 2 - £3.49

Got done getting the HOARD achievement/ticket and it wasn't as hard as I initially thought. There was a tip in the HOARD forums on which map to get this achievement, and it's the last map in Hoard mode, Deathtrap I think (some map with a spiral shape).

At the start of the map, head straight for the lower right corner and continually clear that area of the town and tower. As time progresses, you'll notice that the carriages will continuously spawn and travel near that area. Your dragon should be able to burn them even though there is a mountain/wall blocking you. The only thing to look out for are the damn wizard towers that fire very damaging energy balls at you. If you keep playing, you should be able to destroy at least 20 carriages before the amount of wizard towers/knights overwhelm you. I got this around the 5:50 minute mark in the map. Took about 6-7 retries.

You are not worthy of the game ... not the first time you cheat in SMB

Glad I checked in on this thread now. I actually missed the TF2 ticket yesterday.
Ah fuck, so did I somehow. Can we still claim tickets from past days? Not that I expect to get many more. Already got 3 and claimed the free game.

Holy shit no, I already got 120+ games before the sale and I'm containing myself since I want to buy Bloodlines

Pretty much. Super Meat Boy is one of those games i want to do legit. If i can't do it and it costs me winning 10 steam games at the Grand Prize, then so be it.

I'm still stuck on Omega, i can't do it.

Apparently sometime I accidentally clicked the "redeem" button for the Test Drive 2 thing. I'm pissed about it.

Also that Super Meat Boy achievement is really fucking difficult. Are the Magicka and Jolly Rover ones very easy?

If so just run and jump straight over that bitch. It's way harder to jump to the wall below it.

Not my favorite level, a little too rigid/predictable compared to some of the others.

Just a silly theory.

There are 24 prizes at 3 tickets each, which makes the total for all at 72 tickets. If they keep going at a pace of 7 achievements/tickets a day, that puts the total tickets to 77. I wonder if some secret room opens up on the page for you (containing some ultra secret items) if you purchase all the items by the last day. The secret items would probably cost the remaining 5 tickets.

Play in windowed mode, Full screen stutters. It's being a known issue since launch.
Well that sucks, not I'm in windowed mode it tears like a mofo, and on top of that my windows taskbar won't go down while I'm playing this game (weird as it's in auto hiding mode)

Nope :(

Getting the key. Going up isn't the problem, but going down where those 3 saws are. I have made it before, but something after makes me die. I dont get to many attempts because of the key.

Thanks I'll give this a shot later since the map Hoard mode defaults to is damned near impossible to attempt this on.

That part probably killed me the most as well. Just practice freefalling instead of doing wall jumps when going back down. Jump straight up off the key ledge then weave around the left saw without touching the walls. You want to learn to do that anyway for speed purposes (on a lot of levels besides that one too).

I should have read this before uninstalling, gah!

For those clipping through walls, exploding randomly, or some weird timing on platforms in Super Meat Boy, this is what the official SMB forums have said about it, and what can you do.

It's not so much lag as it is shit coding/scripting. It's why the PC version doesn't get higher marks from me, which is saying a lot because I do enjoy the game design. I really hope they sort it out for their next game, as they clearly have no intention of repairing SMB on the PC.
